As a child, my happiest moments were spent in my small and beautiful garden. It was my sanctuary, my haven of peace and calmness. Among the flowers, with their vibrant colors and delicate fragrances, I found solace. Each flower seemed to invite me closer, and I would lean in to kiss their petals, feeling a deep connection to their beauty and strength. But it was the trees that captured my heart the most. Tall and majestic, they stood like silent guardians, their branches reaching towards the sky. Whenever I hugged a tree, I felt a profound sense of unity, as if I were merging with its essence. In those moments, I became one with the tree, feeling the rough bark against my skin and the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze. It was a feeling of oneness, of belonging to something greater. Back then, I didn’t understand the idea of universal connectedness. People would talk about it, but it seemed too complex for me to grasp. Yet, in the embrace of nature, I felt it intuitively – the interconnectedness of all things, the sense of unity that transcended time and space. Love was the key that unlocked this understanding for me. It was a powerful force that bound me to the natural world, filling me with reverence and gratitude. Love was beyond words, beyond logic – it was the thread that wove through the fabric of existence, connecting every living being in a web of life. Even as a child, I knew that love held the power to unite us all. Creating “Aikyam” was a journey of finding myself in the vastness of the universe. As I painted the background with inks and fluids, I felt like I was weaving the fabric of space and time, forming structures that echoed the grandeur of the cosmos. In the center, I placed a large and abstract thumb impression, representing my own presence in this infinite expanse.It’s deeply personal because it’s not just about the art; it’s about my journey towards understanding oneness.
