I would read all day if I could - fiction or nonfiction, I love a good story but more than anything I love to learn new stuff and absorb information. Favorite exercise? Burpees box jumps What excites you the most about BFT Upper Hutt? Creating an awesome new community of people that are going to get fitter and stronger together, pump each other up and celebrate all the wins together both inside and outside of the studio. If you could offer advice to your past self, what would it be? Stop focusing on what other people are doing and just be the best version of yourself that you can be. An interesting fact about yourself? I actually left the fitness industry to do my biomedical degree and become a biochemist because the human body fascinates the hell out of me, and I wanted to know more about it down to a cellular level. I've done a few odd jobs since then due to my family circumstances but I'm so glad to be back in it armed with even more information and a new passion for it.

85/100 CrewFit On A Week Day ! ๐ฐ I am so glad that on all week days CrewFit fell on a Wednesday, as I do the 7:15am class and it meant that the group is a whole lot smaller then a 6:15am class! 1 Zone (broken up in to 2 zones with our small group) 12 Exercises 18 Minutes Of Continuous Work 2 Mins Rest to move to next zone Each persons Target was 400m on Ski Erg anything over was a burpee per metre. When your target was hit you switch exercises. I got 399m for the ski erg and had to try an make up 1m but got 3m so I have everyone 3 burpees in the first zone. In the second I again got 399m and tried again to get 1m but got 7m so that was 7 burpees for all, not too bad I must say. Throughout knowing that your are doing 18mins work continuously is daunting but it made me focus and do it to the best of my ability and the only exercises I had quick rests was dumbbells as it burnt my arms to keep them up the entire time ๐คฃ I actually quite enjoyed this morning ๐คฉ it made me work on my stamina which I am getting better at! #massivewin #crewfit #bftgawler #bft #cardio #stamina #bftcrewfit
