Work from home means work from anywhere 🌞🤪 Andrew and I are starting the new year strong with a big road trip to Vermont to stay for a month at his families house! We’re gonna ski and do all the snow activities. We had to cancel our Hilton Head DVC trip in December but ended up moving it to one of our stops along the way up north! I’ll share more photos soon but if you followed my story Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is a place I highly recommend. I came once as a kid and this is my second time! It is a beautiful area with lots to do and good food of course 🙌🏻 The DVC resort is small and doesn’t have much of a Disney feel but it’s convenient to all of the activities on the island. We got here Tuesday and are leaving tomorrow to continue the journey. We will come back in the summer sometime I’m sure to enjoy the beaches but there’s still plenty of things to explore and not too cold of weather in the winter! There’s nothing like 𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓶𝓪𝓼 in the 𝓚𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓭𝓸𝓶 ✨🏰🎄 Tbh magic is my least favorite park and I really only enjoy going for MNSSHP or for Christmas. Nothing beats the decorations, the music, the whole vibe really. Here’s to hoping MVMCP and the full Disney holidays return next year 🤞🏻
So I was honestly debating about posting this since I feel like this part of my life is so far behind me now...but it was a major important chapter in my life so I figured I would close it out. Today is my last official day as a Cast Member. As many of you know being a Disney Cast Member was my goal. I would literally do whatever it took to got to the top, I wanted to be CEO. That was my legit plan. I did the DCP, stayed seasonal, got the professional internship I wanted, felt I was on the way there. I was literally planning on probably staying single my whole life, working for a living, and just doing work to define my life 😂 But as you go through life I realized priorities change and I realized Disney was not my dream anymore. In February I started to feel myself wanting to leave Disney, and in March when the pandemic hit it was the perfect way to separate for me. Not because I didn’t love the company itself, I still love Disney and will continue going and spending money there, but it wasn’t where I wanted to work anymore at this moment, and that’s ok. When my internship ended in April officially, HR called me and offered for me to stay seasonal at WDW since that’s where I was right before I transferred to DLR. I said yes, since I figured it could be a fun side job I could do on top of my new job to get some extra change in my pocket. In October, I of course was one of many to lose that position, but I wasn’t at all upset. I really was heartbroken and speechless for those that this was their career, those in corporate who were working there way up, those in the parks that needed this job to be able to provide...that’s tough. I am extremely thankful to have my career in my field and if I could’ve given my Disney position to someone who really needed it, I would have. Please keep these CM’s in your thoughts today who are going through this hard season. Will I ever return to Disney? Maybe, maybe not. It’s not a priority, if it happens, I will accept it as something that was meant to be. I’m at peace with where I’m at in closing this chapter, looking forward to new ones, and still love living locally (cont. in comments)

The Christmas season is in full swing now that thanksgiving is over (or if you’re like most of us it’s been in full swing since nov 1) and I am oh so happy !! I am loving seeing our neighborhood covered in Christmas lights (we legit had ours out nov 1 and were def the first lit up but we don’t care) and doing all the fun Christmas things. Due to covid and a crazy schedule this year I haven’t been able to make it to the parks for as much Christmas as I’d like (I won’t make it to Epcot FOH 😭), but I’m hoping for a last MK Christmas Day this weekend before I head home until January 🤞🏻 Anyone else do some fun Christmas things to kickoff December?

Disney Bach-Bash 👰 If you guys remember from my vlogs like wayyy back in the day, this is my friend Michaela and she’s finally getting married to her Prince Charming in December!!! I have the honor of being a bridesmaid, and last weekend was her Bachelorette party! We ended up going to Epcot, staying at Old Key West, and hitting up Disney Springs. This was my first bachelorette party and man I wish these were every weekend because they are a blast 🤩 Has anyone else ever been a Disney wedding or bachelorette party?!?! The most magical gondola on earth! 🚡✨ Yesterday Andrew and I decided to go ride the Skyliner for the first time since we figured it was a great way to show our friends visiting around Disney property! We rode all the routes and let me just say it is INCREDIBLE! I think it is a super efficient mode of transportation and has incredible views. It is also so quiet and smooth which is super impressive to me; I’ve been a skier majority of my life and most of the gondolas I’ve been on skiing are not this smooth and quiet 😂 I highly recommend checking out the Skyliner as a relaxing non parks activity!! Now for the big question ❓ do you prefer the Skyliner or the classic Monorail? It’s a tough choice for me 🤔
So in typical me fashion, I took no vlogs or photos besides the video on my story of our cabin! However, it’s safe to say the Cabins quickly became the best place we’ve ever stayed. Well, we still have a lot more resorts to go but NOTHING will beat this experience. I put the video on my resorts highlights for you to check out, but this cabin sleeps 8 people. It is basically a mini house, with an amazing back porch with a private hot tub on the water! Andrew and I stayed up super late Sunday night to enjoy all the amenities so that’s why we look so dead in the photo 😂 We also used this cabin to surprise his mom for her 50th birthday so she stayed with us along with her brother! It was definitely a fun filled night 🎉🏞
Jambo friends! 🦒🐅🦓 SOOOO yesterday our AC broke in our house and if you know Florida, you know it’s living hell if that happens. Andrew joked with a genius idea, that since we have a lot of DVC points left for this year we haven’t rolled over to next year yet, we might as well see if any resorts are available for a quick staycation!!! So at 2 PM we booked a night at Kidani Village (one of my fav Disney resorts) with a Savana view for only 14 POINTS!!! Since we wanted to continue checking restaurants off our list we skipped Sanaa and headed to the Boardwalk. We went to Trattoria al Forna and Abracadabar and took a nice evening stroll around the Epcot resort loop. It was the perfect little last minute getaway and will be on the vlog soon 😍 If you know me and Andrew you know we love competition and spontaneous decisions, so we also decided last night that we had to add staying at EVERY Disney resort to our list along with eating at every restaurant on property. So as crazy as we are we booked the Boardwalk for next Thursday night into an Epcot day Friday, but Sunday we booked an AMAZING resort opportunity you won’t want to miss!!! Any guesses of what resort/what type of room?!?! 😁

Magic Kingdom has officially been decorated, and it’s making me think of how amazing my first Halloween at Disneyland was last year 🍂 🎃 👻 Dont get me wrong I love the Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths at MK, but Disneyland just overdoes it for Halloween and it SHOWS. Between the food, decorating ALL the lands, and the villains they have out it’s just amazing. Happy #throwbackthursday to my trip to Disneyland Paris last summer andddd keeping on the theme of yesterday’s lost Hollywood Studios attractions post. I got to experience the Studio Tram Tour at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, and while this used to be in Hollywood Studios I can barely remember it even though it only closed in 2014! I really wish the old Studios was still around because I think stuff like this is super cool. Many of you know I tend to be one for nostalgia so yes I prefer the old Studios. What do you all prefer?

It’s festival time in DCA once again!!! Always late to the party, but a few weeks ago we said goodbye to Lunar New Year, which turned out to be such a great festival! I loved this little celebration of the Chinese New Year at DCA, the food was amazing! Now it is time to say hello 👋🏻 to California Food and Wine Festival, which if you know me, you know I am PUMPED for this event! I love Epcot Food and Wine so I am sure Cali will be just as great. I haven’t taken any photos yet but I will definitely be documenting everything I try when I go! 🥘 🍷 🍻
Here’s a little Festival of Fantasy throwback because TONIGHT AT 11:30 PM, I get to see THE BRAND NEW MAGIC HAPPENS parade at Disneyland!!! I am so excited to see all the magic this parade will hold before the public does on Friday! I have seen some of the floats backstage and man let me tell ya they’re stunning 🤩😉 I cannot wait to see them in action though! I feel like I haven’t posted about WDW in a minute but hey...kinda miss her sometimes 😂 So as we all know Cinderella’s Castle is getting a major #glowup very soon!! So I’m gonna be honest I’m not a hugeeee fan...the only reason why is because the color scheme is to similar to Disneyland for me! I love keeping each castle unique, and Disneyland just got golds and blues turned up too, and especially adding those pink undertones...idk I just can’t get behind it because I love keeping it all different. But what do you all think??? 🏰
Adventure is most definitely out there with this relationship 🤩🥰 If you all haven’t realized Andrew and I love to travel (Disney obviously being one of those places) and this weekend we realized it was already his fifth visit to Disneyland!!! Fun fact, before June 2018 Andrew had never been to a Disney Park before. Safe to say he got hooked right away, and somehow since then managed to visit WDW 5 times by June 2019, and Land 5 times since June 2019 also 😂 He also may be starting to be a bigger Disney fan then me 😜
I feel like today is the kind of day for a needed PSA. Although I am not a basketball fan, for some reason yesterday’s events have me a little teary eyed. It always shakes the world when we lose an incredible, known person who has done nothing but good things for society. It really took me aback and think of my loved ones in my life. Life is short - and you NEVER know when someone who means/meant so much to you will be gone in an instant. It is scary to think but a very real statement. I’m taking this instance as a careful and helpful reminder to slow down and not focus as much on myself and ensuring I check in on people who are close to me frequently. You never know where life may take you but there is no reason to live life anything but happy and grateful. Anyway, that’s my Ted Talk for the day, here’s Small World because it never fails to brighten a day! 😄🌎🌟
