Disney postcards are the best postcards! <3 One of the things I made sure we did on our last trip was stop by Main Street to get our postcards stamped with the Magic Kingdom postmark before dropping them off at one of the mailboxes on property! This means you could be some of the first guests on popular attractions like this! 🐘 Jungle Cruise - this attraction also opens right at park opening, and typically has a very long wait throughout the day! 🚙 Test Track - Test Track is a very popular attraction, and most guests go to World Showcase for rope drop, leaving shorter waits at the front of the park! Additionally, Test Track will close in inclement weather, so you’ll want to get it done early. 🐀 Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure - while this is a very popular ride to rope drop, I recommend waiting for it if it’s on your list for EPCOT. It has numerous downtimes throughout the day, so ride before that starts! 🌌 Rise of the Resistance - there will be a LONG wait for this attraction. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park has temporarily halted all trains for a short 5-day routine maintenance closure. The wildest ride in the wilderness will reopen on Sunday, January 21.
Hackers are trying to get access to my page, which means it officially time for an overdue shop update 🥳 Two new designs just hit the shop this weekend that I’m pretty excited about. The first is inspired by one of the OG thrills - Rock N Rollercoaster 🎸🎢 And of course, as soon as the design debuted, the ride went down for an extensive refurbishment. I’ll be honest, it’s much needed. In my most recent trip in December, half of the ride was complete darkness with very few of the details lit up, and the preshow wasn’t running which is such a huge part of the storyline. Here’s to hoping this attraction is back up and running in its full glory very soon. You can find these ears in my shop posted on the main page - no backstage passes required 🎫 As a one person show, the extra step of handling social media gives me alllll the anxiety these days, but I need to be more present to keep the hackers from trying to reset my password. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opened on May 28th, 2014 and is one of the newest rides in Magic Kingdom. Even with the lighting lane this is one of the rides that always has a long wait time. So for this 2 and a half minute long ride I would definitely recommend using the Lighting Lane for. This ride tells the story of Snow White in a new and updated way. Guests go on a musical journey into the dwarfs’ diamond mine, on a train with a new way. The minecars rock back and forth just like real mine cars, so guests will feel every twist and turn in the track. The cars are designed to look like they were hand-carved out of wood with an ax. Audio-animatronic figures and music from the film complete the story and bring guests into the forest with Snow White and her friends.
