10 years ago, as an 18 almost 19 year old, I moved a thousand miles away from my family to pursue my dream of working for Disney. I’m so thankful for the last 10 years of Disney trips, working there, and meeting some of my favorite people because of Disney. Moving away to somewhere no one knew me was a chance for me to start being who I am. The happiness I felt/feel every time I go to Florida is amazing. My DCP was life changing for me. 10 years ago I didn’t think I’d be alive or ever feel like I wanted to be alive. When I was 18 I didn’t think I’d ever be happy or that I’d find somewhere I belong. From seeing Festival of Fantasy on opening day, doing a cast preview of Mine Train before it was open, a backstage tour of Tower of Terror, always being stuck in Magic Kingdom because of the Electrical Parade, countless hours at the parks, and making lifelong friendships - I’m forever thankful. So much has changed in the last 10 years - in me and in the Walt Disney World Resort - but my love for the company and theme parks has stayed consistent. I hope one day I can move back and work there again, but for now it’s see ya real soon. 🐭🫶🏻
I can't believe it but 25 years ago today, I started my first Disney College Program! I worked at the now-defunct Main St. Market House and have the most amazing memories that I will always treasure! How is it possible it feels like a lifetime ago but also yesterday? Without those formative years spent with the Walt Disney Company, Living With The Magic may not have ever happened! Even though we've spread our wings, our roots are still with Disney and we love planning amazing and magical Disney destination vacations!! Life update? Nah, food update! 😋 . . . . . Roundup Rodeo was a 6/10. After living in TX the bbq standards are very high. It wasn’t bad but I don’t feel the need to go back. The vibes however are immaculate! 🧸🍖🪁 Nine Dragons was a solid 8/10! It fulfillled my Chinese food craving and that blackberry jasmine tea is my new fav 🫖🥢🐓 I finally tried the new coffees that were released for the Flower and Garden festival! The key lime pie cold brew was a 4/10. It didn’t really taste like key lime pie and the flavor combo was pretty weird. The orange cream cold brew however is a 9/10.
