WE’RE IN!!! 🏕️‼️🌅🌲 We got the chance to tour a real, live, ✨new Fort Wilderness cabin✨ today!! Swipe for tons of video ➡️➡️➡️ Here are a few notes: 🏕️ Every cabin has a private deck with furniture and grill, plus a taller ceiling with skylights for lots of natural light 🌲 New cabins are 527 sq feet — the same size as the original cabins, just a different layout. This was intentional not to disturb the existing nature and greenery. 🌅 Bunk beds are twin, 1 bedroom bed is a queen, and Murphy is a queen. In total, the cabin sleeps 6. ‼️ The top bunk folds down to make it easier for mousekeeping to make up the bed! I know y’all are bummed to lose the classic cabins, and I am too. 😔 I get it. But these are pretty well designed inside and offer some great efficiency and amenities. I think families will be happy here 🧡

Permit filed for Test Track’s overhaul in EPCOT 🚙 ⚠️ In case you missed it, Test Track is set to 🔒close on June 17th in EPCOT for a re-theme.🚧 Recently, Disney filed a NEW permit for general construction at the location, which is vague and could refer to several different types of projects from stormwater drainage ⛈️ to building. But the permit was filed with Coastal Steel, Inc, whom Disney has brought in for major jobs like Mission SPACE, Expedition Everest, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and others. 🎢 Here's hoping we'll see some exciting, large-scale changes. 👀 Reminder that Disney mentioned the "new" Test Track will take inspiration from 🧡World of Motion,💙 the ride that was originally in this space when the park opened in 1982. No reopening date has been set, yet, for the updated ride.

🚨Disney’s remaining Splash Mountain ride is getting some updates! 💦⛰️ Tokyo Disney Resort is CRANKING UP the ride as part of its new summer event called “Get Soaked!”💧From July 2-Sept 18, the new version of the ride will be called “Splash Mountain Get Soaked MAX” with MORE water than usual on the ride and an additional water effect on the drop. 🚿🚿🚿 Other parts of the Get Soaked event include Baymax 🤍 in the parade spraying guests with water, ⛲️Toontown transforming into “Get Soaked Toontown” with Get Soaked spots scattered throughout the land, and The Country Bear Theater 🐻 bringing back “Vacation Jamboree" May 17th through November 7th! Hi 👋 from Magic Kingdom! We have some fun updates for you! 🗣️✨🏜️ 💎 Aladdin and Jasmine were riding the Magic Carpets in Adventureland! We often see them come out and survey their kingdom in the early morning like this. You might get lucky enough to ride with them! 🪟 New stained-glass doors and blue wrought iron lampposts were revealed at Tiana's Bayou Adventure (sound on for that hidden "we're almost there" from the train conductor)! 🍭 MORE SMELLEPHANTS! I LOVE IT! This 🍕Pizza Planet popcorn bucket🍿 is making all my 80s kids toy dreams come true! The truck has pull-back action and a removable little green alien driver 🥹 I am smitten. And, honestly, I’m smitten with Pixar Fest overall. Meeting characters like Luca, Ember and Wade, Talking Dug, and more beloved personalities that we never thought we’d be able to encounter is surprisingly emotional. Even for grown-ups. Disney has done a great job with this one. Excited to try the food booths next! 🥰

In about 1994, I won a CD player, and this was the first CD I bought. My friend's dad laughed at me when I told him what I got. I say now what I thought then. I am still listening to MARY POPPINS, and I doubt his son is still listening to Dr. Dre or Tag Team. In addition to this mid-90s relesse, I also have the Legacy Collection edition, the Original London Cast Recording, the Broadway promotional sampler, the Australian Live cast recording, and the complete London revival recording. Although I love the stage musical, nothing beats the original Sherman Brothers score. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I've always loved the humor in "Sister Suffragette," in addition to the usual suspects (basically most of the rest of the score). Okay this was really hard to pick so few images because Epcot is just one of my favorite parks. But for us, an early entry Skyliner ride gliding into the International Gateway is the BEST way to start the day. Riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure with little wait and then grabbing pastries and savory snacks for breakfast in the France pavilion is perfection. If there is a festival happening, sampling food and drinks around the park is always a good idea. The rides are all fun (except Figment- don’t come at me 🫣) and the live performances are amazing. BREAKING: This super-sensory NEW attraction is opening in Disney World NEXT MONTH! 🚨 The (slightly bizarre) 🍿Smellephants On Parade🍭 scavenger hunt could give you one more reason to head to the back of Magic Kingdom. When entering Storybook Circus, guests will stumble upon a casting call posted by Timothy Q. Mouse, seeking out a “Whiff-sistant” to join Dumbo’s newest act. At the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs, a cast member will provide guests with an illustrated map of the land and a sticker sheet to guide them in their first task as a Whiff-sistant. 🌟 Guests are tasked with finding all eight Smellephant statues scattered around Storybook Circus, using the stickers and map to track their progress. Cute addition and def fun for littles — especially on those super crowded days.

The $1.9 billion Disneyland Expansion has been APPROVED! 🌅🎡🎠🎢🎟️ Anaheim city council unanimously approved Disneyland’s plan last night to re-zone areas around the parks for new lands, hotels, restaurants, and more. As part of its ramp-up, Disneyland has proposed/suggested lands building on other current park expansions, including Tangled ☀️, Peter Pan 🏴‍☠️ , Toy Story 🦖 , and Frozen ❄️. More votes and specifics to come, but this is a big step forward.
