Mes réglages pour de l’astrophotographie ⬇️ On attendait tellement ce moment où on allait pouvoir observer les étoiles en plein milieu du Salar d’Uyuni. On a attendu 10 jours pour attendre que la lune diminue afin d’avoir un max de visibilité. Et finalement, ça valait le coup ! 📸 Avant de se lancer pour photographier le ciel étoilé, il faut vérifier plusieurs conditions : • Avoir un ciel dépourvu de nuage et de pollution • Trouver un endroit dépourvu de pollution lumineuse • Avoir peu de lune pour être dans le noir complet Niveau équipement, il faudra obligatoirement un trépied pour que les étoiles soient le plus net possible ! Au niveau des réglages (par ordre de priorité) : • La règle des 500 = la vitesse doit être supérieure à 500 divisé par la longueur focale. Je shoot avec un 18mm donc ma vitesse doit être supérieure à 27s. Une vitesse entre 20s et 30s est nécessaire pour capter un maximum d’étoiles (il est donc préférable de shooter avec un grand angle) • L’ouverture doit être la plus petite possible pour capter un maximum de lumière (f1.7-f2.8) • Les ISO peuvent être augmentés si l’image est trop sombre. Attention à ne pas dépasser les 6400 pour ne pas avoir trop de bruit (la valeur à pas dépasser dépend cependant des boîtiers) • Faire le focus à l’infini, ou manuellement sur une étoile Quelques conseils supplémentaires : • Utiliser le retardateur d’au moins 2s pour éviter tout mouvement lors du déclenchement • Pour savoir où se trouve la Voie lactée (le graal de la photo de nuit), j’utilise l’application @photopills Pour la retouche : • Augmente l’exposition, les hautes lumières et la clarté • N’hésite pas à accentuer certaines couleurs comme ici le violet de certaines étoiles au cœur de la Voie lactée que j’aime beaucoup 💬 Tu as déjà eu l’occasion d’admirer/photographier la Voie lactée ? 📸 Panasonic Lumix G9 | Leica DG 9mm f/1.7 | 25s | ISO 2500 . . . . . #milkyway #milkywayphotography #nightsky #astrophoto #astrophotography #nightscape #nightphotography #voielactée #tutophotodenuit #tutoastrophotographie #uyuni #uyunisky #uyuninightsky #salardeuyuni #lumixfr #panasonicfr

One of my favorite spots for the Milky Way is Highland Light, otherwise known as Cape Cod Light, not only because it’s a beautiful lighthouse but also because it’s in an area with not as much light pollution as other locations. Talk about dedication…we arrived around 3 am and left around 4:30 am feeling pretty sleep deprived but happy to have had a clear night to photograph the Milky Way which had been in short supply with the cloudy skies and rain we’ve had this month. As much as I love a beautiful sunset or sunrise, I love photographing the Milky Way because I had never seen the night sky in all it’s glory while growing up in Las Vegas with all the neon lights and light pollution. It’s such a great time of year to photograph the Milky Way because it arches over the night sky and this lighthouse provides a perfect foreground for this type of shot. The summer must have been a scorcher in South Island. These exposed mud flats were ideal to shoot a dramatic foreground. Unfortunately they don’t really align so well with the Milky Way, so this is a composite using a sky shot the previous night. One of the rare moments I captured !! I was chasing a storm toward Abu Dhabi in the desert called Al Qua. The clouds were moving very quickly, and every few minutes, lightning flashed in the clouds. After some time, a gap appeared in the clouds, and I could see the Milky Way; it was quite a surprising moment.
