Yesterday I had that chance to attend a very “unorthodox” triple feature of @darioargento_official movies on the big screen at @ifccenter in the Village! Panic Attacks: The Films of Dario Argento was a week long, 46 screening event celebrating the legacy of Dario and showing MOST of his films on the big screen. When I surveyed the lineup, Tuesday jumped out for maximum value: I could see THREE movies if Argento’s that I had NEVER previously seen on the big screen. Dario Argento: Panico - The new documentary about him Opera - one of his less popular giallo’s that I happened to love Dracula 3-D: This was just too good to pass up My buddy @tommylombardozzi joined me for this triple feature, so I threw on my @disperse_homemedia Argento shirt and made it happen! What a wild ride… beers, hot dogs, candy, popcorn and a ton of laughs/screams later we had the best time! I crossed three more movies of his off my “see on the big screen” list and had a great time doing it! Any chance I get to see Argento on the big screen, I’ll take it.
