This period film takes place in an idyllic French countryside chateau. . Unlike many foodie films where food stylists will sometimes use tricks to enhance the food, here the recipes and ingredients are all real and true to the time period. No electricity, no kitchen gadgets or appliances were used. In fact, no food was wasted. When scenes were completed and the actors heard ‘cut’, they continued to finish the food on the table. Esta fue la cinta postulada por #Francia para representarla en la última entrega de los #Oscars, pero más allá de llevarse el premio de Mejor Director en #Cannes para #TrầnAnhHùng, toda la atención se la llevó “Anatomía de una Caída”. Protagonizan #JulietteBinoche y #BenoîtMagimel. La historia trata de la relación entre un chef ficticio en 1889 y la cocinera que lo asiste. Pero más que eso, la cinta es un homenaje al arte culinario. A las preparaciones y el ritual de sentarse a comer a todo dar. El grueso del metraje se sostiene sobre la preparación detallada de varios banquetes. Algunas de estas secuencias duran hasta veinte minutos. A mi, que me gusta cocinar, me hipnotizaron y sorprendieron. Pero más allá de estas, el argumento es flojo, predecible y lento. El personaje de #DodinBouffant, fue creado por el autor suizo #MarcelRouff en su novela #LaVieetlapassiondeDodinBouffantgourmet ( #ThePassionateEpicure) publicada en 1924. Rouff era escritor gastronómico. Además de la novela, escribió #LaFrancegastronomique, una serie de 28 volúmenes que hacía un inventario de los restaurantes, recetas y regiones de Francia que es considerada la primera guía gastronómica del mundo. Su novela está inspirada en su amigo de aventuras culinarias, #Curnonsky y el famoso gastrónomo del siglo XIX, #JeanAnthelmeBrillatSavarin. La obra es un trabajo híbrido entre la ficción y el asombro ante banquetes y recetas reales. El libro ha tenido más de 50 ediciones e incluso tuvo una película para televisión en 1973. Depois de meses, fui ao cinema. 😊 NADA substitui uma sala de cinema confortável, com tela de uma nitidez absurda e um som imersivo de arrepiar. Vi ‘O Sabor da Vida’ (La passion de Dodin Bouffant), filme francês que estreou esta semana no Brasil. É a história de Eugenie (Juliette Binoche), uma cozinheira que mais parece uma chef, que trabalha e vive há 20 anos com o aclamado chef Dodin (Benoît Magimel). Tran Anh Hung levou o prêmio de melhor diretor no CANNES FILM FESTIVAL de 2023. A quase totalidade das minhas impressões são sobre Juliette Binoche! Ela é a luz, o sabor, o aroma, a cor do filme. Belíssima em seus 60 anos, ocupa a tela inteira com a sua presença em cena. Às vezes cabelos desgrenhados, roupas nada sofisticadas, sem maquiagem, e mesmo assim, belíssima. Quando silencia, o corpo, as mãos, os olhos, o rosto, dizem o texto, e quando fala, a voz emociona, e vem com a entonação perfeita! Está sublime. Amei as cenas externas, com paisagens, cores e luz deslumbrantes (atenção no som do grilo, das folhas no vento de outono). Confesso que me incomodou o uso de um tempo muito longo nas cenas do preparo do pratos; perdoem-me se pareço limitada 🫢. E sim, é um filme romântico mostrado de uma ótica diferente , e nem por isso menos emocionante. When scenes were completed and the actors heard ‘cut’, the actors continued to finish the food on the table.
