We just got a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in NJ. It's been felt throughout NJ, NY, CT. (If I missed your state, I apologize) I hope you are all safe and okay. We are okay, all our cats are okay, except davie has been running around the house howling amd jumping and attacking the other cats. My son finally calmed him down and he's chilling out now. He is our most emotional cat and i know he picks up on my stress and anything off in the house or outside the house I also noticed that the birds and squirrels all took off when the earthquake happened. But so far, all looks good here. Davie is finally asleep!! It's been a tough couple of days between the time change and the intense wind we've been having. Davie has been running around the house howling and stirring up all sorts of badness with steve and hopper. The wind really got to him today and he would jump by the window and scream, as if he were yelling at the trees swaying back and forth. Does anyone else's cat do this? I know Davie is extremely sensitive, so I am sure that adds to his behavior. He spent a great deal of time today in my arms or cuddled up close to me. I am hoping for a peaceful night for both of us, I feel as exhausted as he is. I got to visit with Tommy today. I was hoping to be able to bring him home, but didn’t work out. His vitals were stable but his fever went from 101 to 103 when they removed his fluids. His diarrhea is not as bad. Labs look good but still anemic. His glucose level is still going up…..now at 380. When I walked up to his cage his back was towards me. When I called his name, he got up, turned around, meowed, and came to me like he wanted me to pick him up. He was so happy to see me! He did eat a little of his can food and afterwards he bathed his face, then wanted me to rub his cheeks. Swipe to see a couple more pictures & video.
