I thought I would share my personal alter to Ishtar, a poem I wrote for her, along with a general astrological message I gathered from a card reading! ~With Mercury recently coming out of retrograde, and then the Moon in Scorpio many necessary changes have come our ways. Like the waves of the ocean, all the baggage and low vibrational energy came crashing down and removed itself, making way for the new. Currently, Neptune and Mars are in Pisces♓️ which means your goals will feel a little unachievable right now. You now what you want, but you’re having trouble getting it. You may experience a call to new beginnings, with Mars being a hunter sort of energy, there is a passionate, intuitive call for what is new. Venus and Mars work together, they’re essentially striving for the same thing but doing so in different methods. With the conjunction of these two planets in Pisces, we as a collective want peace, but we can’t do so without chipping off a piece of our own block, or without affirmative action (especially having that the root of Mars and martyr both mean to sacrifice- or to die for something). Here’s a throwback to my art 10 years ago. ✨ For my final of my Advanced Diploma I created four pyrography plaques (wood burnings); Lilith/Inanna 🐍, Cernunnos 🦌, Ceridwen 🔮, and Jeanne D’Arc (Joan of Arc) ⚔️. . I wish I had better photos, and close up ones, but each of these sold at my tafe group exhibition, so these images are all I have to share. I had to rescue these photos off my old tumblr account just to share them here! (I stopped using tumblr after their ‘explicit content ban’ because their auto detection kept banning my art. It was a drawing of a hydra tumblr! Not a flailing bag of 🐓s!) . I’m very proud of these pieces and I’m glad I have some documentation of them. The Cernunnos piece was done entirely by stippling. You can imagine how long that took! . It’s so interesting to look back on one’s old art. La saison de la rose approche et cela me met en joie. Aller se promener près des rosiers, est une expérience intérieure et extérieure à la fois pour qui s’ouvre à cela. On ne peut nier que la rose est spéciale parmis toutes les fleurs pour que l’on parle d’elle autant, pour que l’on fasse appel à elle autant, pour que son histoire soit raconté depuis des milliers d’année. There was a child inside of me, waiting for someone to show her the chapter and verse where her Goddess awaits. One day, that child receives her dream. Sometimes all it takes to liberate us, finally, from one story into another is reassuring our subconscious mind that the thing we’ve been yearning for (in this case, Goddess) has been with us all along. Een aantal jaren geleden dook ik diep in de mythe van Inanna, ze sprak ’s nachts als in een droom tot me. Het uitwerken van haar mythe in een creatief traject dat een heel aantal vrouwen dichter bij henzelf en bij het integreren van een schaduwstuk bracht, leidde me naar Cheiron, de Gewonde Genezer. De energie van deze laatste ken ik heel goed, het is alsof zijn inhoud al een leven lang mijn metgezel is. Ik voelde dat ik de symbolische inhoud van zijn verhaal diende te vertalen in een stage, een drie dagen durende flow over het offer om in het vlees en later in de ziel geboren te worden, over de wijsheid die schuilt in de pijn en over de schoonheid van een open hart, de kracht van kwetsbaarheid. Ik diepte hem ook astrologisch helemaal uit en niet toevallig liep dit haast synchroon in de tijd met wat de Cheiron-return genoemd wordt. Twee weken geleden gaf ik de driedaagse nog een keer en voelde ik op de één of andere manier ook een soort van nakend afscheid komen, alsof hij zeggen wou : ‘laat me nu wat rusten, we komen elkaar op de spiraal van het leven zeker opnieuw tegen, ik loop naast je maar het is tijd om je te gooien in iets nieuws.’ Maar hij deed dit niet zonder me nog een diepere laag van zijn inhoud te tonen, ééntje die ik nog niet kende. Dat nieuwe diende zich een tijdje geleden al aan en ze heeft me sinds een aantal dagen stevig gegrepen. Ik ontmoette haar eigenlijk al tijdens een druïdische heling die ik half maart kreeg en sindsdien stuurt ze signalen op mijn pad. Onze zomervakantie zal gelinkt zijn aan haar wereld, haar land en o.a. aan de plek die Apollo zich later in de tijd toe-eigende, ik dien haar letterlijk te gaan voelen, ze roept me. Maar eerst komt er nog een soort van afscheidsritueel voor Cheiron, een terugkomdag voor zijn adepts die de stage volgden en voor zij die kennis met hem willen maken. Ik post deze week de waar en wanneer voor ik me stort in de magische wereld van een volgende mythe en de geschiedenis en symboliek daarrond. Najgorzej jak się ma konkretne oczekiwania, własne wyobrażenia na temat jakiejś książki. Potem zaczynasz ją czytać i jest pfff... schodzi powietrze z balonika. Muszę to powiedzieć, na początku strasznie się rozczarowałam. Serio, spodziewałam się czegoś innego. Myślałam, że główna bohaterka to będzie dorosła babka, silna, pewna siebie postać, która ustawi do pionu trzech kolesi, niczym jakaś przywódczyni gangu czy coś... A dostałam rozwydrzonego bachora, pannicę, która mnie strasznie irytowała, z zagrywkami jak z ogólniaka... Niektórych jej decyzji totalnie nie rozumiem, a pewne zachowania budziły zniesmaczenie. Czasami wydawało mi się, że jestem już za stara na takie książki, może ze 20 lat temu jarałabym się nią jak Rzym za czasów Nerona 🤷♀️ Niestety nie mogę powiedzieć, że w tym zniesmaczeniu dotrwałam do samego końca. Dałam się wciągnąć, i z zaskoczeniem muszę przyznać, że z niecierpliwością czekam na kontynuację 😱 Madison Kate została oskarżona o przestępstwo, którego nie popełniła. Po prostu potrzebny był kozioł ofiarny, a ona znalazła się w nieodpowiednim miejscu w nieodpowiednim czasie. Trzech tajemniczych mężczyzn, którzy pozornie chcą jej pomóc, finalnie wystawia ją policji. Mimo późniejszego oczyszczenia z zarzutów, cała sprawa niszczy dziewczynie plany na przyszłość. MK wyjeżdża, a właściwie zostaje odesłana przez ojca na drugi koniec świata. Kiedy po niemal roku wraca do domu, zastaje w nim właśnie tą trójkę przystojniaków, do których nienawiść pielęgnowała w sobie przez ostatnie długie miesiące... I tu właśnie wchodzą zagrania jak z liceum albo jeszcze z gimnazjum w ogóle, bo dziewczyna chce koniecznie wykurzyć chłopaków z domu. Jest pyskata, sarkastyczna i bardzo porywcza (tutaj akurat trzeba jej to zapisać na plus). Nie przejmuje się co powiedzą inni, robi wiele rzeczy pod wpływem emocji i często tego żałuje (wierzcie mi- czytalnik też). Jej relacja z tymi trzema diabłami jest trudna, MK jest zła, a i oni ostro z nią sobie pogrywają. Mamy tutaj motyw odwróconego haremu, więc jak ktoś nie przepada za takimi klimatami, lepiej niech sobie odpuści czytanie. Jednak wszystkie fanki dark romansów znajdą tutaj coś dla siebie.
