It was everything I was hoping it would be and more! @scheana, @brock__davies, @lalakent, @brittany and @mrjaxtaylor were all there and down to take pics with everyone which made the night very exciting and very fun!! 📸 In addition to getting to take pics with them (soooo fun), the highlights of the night for me were Scheana performing “Good As Gold” on stage, Brock being so involved and playful with everyone, my 4-minute-small-talk with Brittany (she’s sooooooo nice…I love her), and then Jax getting behind the bar and making shots for the people! Watching Part III of the VPR Reunion with a group was such a cool experience too! 🏛️✨THE MET GALA✨🏛️ The 2023 Met Gala went down this week and my experience was hilarious! My friend @emilyelizabethcreighton and I set out to see what we could see as spectators! We first went to The Mark Hotel where finding a spot where we could actually see anything amongst the fans was quite challenging 😂 Between the massive crowd and security guards tightly locking the area down it was not setting us up for success. We did get to see a glimpse of Anne Hathaway (best she’s ever looked…va va voom), Donatella Versace, Charlotte Tilbury and Bella Ramsey load into their vans that we’re headed to the Gala! After not being able to see much we moved on to The Carlyle Hotel right nearby as we heard the crowd over there going nuts…again not much luck for us seeing any celebs! We then decided it was time to go to the actual Metropolitan Museum of Art but found that again security/police had basically shut down all the sidewalks around the Met 👎🏼 This is when we decided to take things into our own hands and journeyed North to catch a city bus to take a ride RIGHT by the event! 😂 We weren’t the only ones with this idea…there were about 25 others who had the same idea!! ✨🎭FUNNY GIRL ON BROADWAY🎭✨ It’s been 1 year since I went to see Funny Girl on Broadway (thank you Facebook Memories for reminding me)! Getting my ticket for this show is such a fun story! My friend Megan was in town w/her Mom and they had tickets to the show…I did NOT! But that never stops me😂 I decided I would approach the box office at the August Wilson Theater and see if they had any last-minute tickets for the show. I checked and they told me “Oh you are actually the first person to be in the stand-by line…go ahead and stand right over there and we’ll check in with you in a bit.” So I gladly stood off to the side and had fun just watching everyone w/tickets head on into the theater. Literally 1.5 minutes later a theater ambassador came over to talk with me and said “You want a New York shady deal? Follow me.”…to which I responded “HECK YA I want a New York shady deal” while following her down a dark NYC alley…JUST KIDDING! No dark alley…but we did pull off to the side so not to be seen too much! She told me she had a comped ticket (comped ticket=free ticket), but if I wanted to tip her anything that would be cool (can’t remember the exact words she used, you get the jist…but I was digging everything she was saying)! The seat was AMAZING too!🤯 So I gave her the $45 I had in my wallet…and ran in to the theater to find my friend and her Mom! I was soooo excited to be IN! I asked Megan if she had $20 I could borrow to give a bit more to the ambassador that just hooked me up…she had $20 and I ran to the entrance to find my ambassador friend again…I found her and gave her the extra $20 which she sooo appreciated…and THEN! THEN she said “ HOT TIP!🔥Lin-Manuel Miranda and Andrew Garfield just walked in!” OMG! I ran in to find Megan again and she started freaking out being a huge Lin-Manuel Miranda fan!! So we kept our eyes WIDE OPEN while we tried spotting them…and we did!👀 We freaking did

It was Mark Consuelos’ first week on the job as the new full-time host with Kelly Ripa…and I think it’s the first week back with a considerable audience since COVID started…so it was exciting to be a part of everything!!🤸🏻♀️We got to see lots of guests too! While I didn’t get the chance to be a contestant, I did get seated in the 2nd row (right behind Contestant’s Row)…I was right in the action! So much so, Bob Barker himself picked me out of the crowd to talk to and gave me an autographed photo to take home! Last night I got to attend the @bufferingcast live show at Buffy’s alma mater itself, the legendary Sunnydale (Torrance) High School! There’s been a lot of celebrating for Buffy’s 25th anniversary this week and it was such an honor to do some of that celebrating in one of the key places where the show was filmed! Day 7 of #lunchboxvinylchallenge2020 Social Distancing - record that will clear a room (unless said room is Slayer con, @dragoncon or another scifi convention). First off these aren't LPs but CDs, but if they made them on vinyl I would totally buy them. Songwriter @jennyowenyoungs and writer Kristin Russo do a podcast called #bufferingthevampireslayer about #buffythevampireslayer and have written a song for every episode of seasons 1 to 5. I anxiously await seasons 6 and 7. I have been revisiting the episodes of the series via these songs on long drives and love a lot of them. But my kids, who have never watched Buffy, want to run screaming from the car when they hear it. With lyrics like "There's a snake, there's a snake, there's a great big snake," I can understand how it might sound crazy to the uninitiated.
