5 weeks ago I had an unfortunate crash. Short story is my chest protector got caught in the rear fender not allowing me to get back to the bike or push it away. This crash cause a fracture of my L3 spinous procress. And some how no injury to the boys! Haha Over the past 5 weeks I distanced myself from all online interaction and did a bit of soul searching, looked inward and began a new relationship with myself. Then with the help of @lindseyedna magic touch and @tiffany.beaton hospitality we were able to set healing goals and make it back! Week 3 - wingsuit base (wasn’t expecting that but felt good enough to do it) Week 5 ride again and week 6 ride Vancouver Monster jam oct 6-8 Feeling great thanks to all the work and stoked to get back to 100% slowly. The Power of Intentional Journaling ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The power of positive intentions and journaling are an effective way to boost your mood, unleash creativity and to process thoughts and emotions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We all know Intentions are powerful. When you’re clear on your intention, you take inspired action. You also quickly manifest what you desire because you’re clearly putting out words and actions that you want to attract into your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is a difference between affirmations and intentions just in case you didn’t know. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ An affirmation is a positive statement that helps shape and train our thoughts and beliefs, while an intention is a clear step or action we can take to help us move forward to a desired goal or destination. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Setting an intention is slightly different than just writing a to-do list. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Think about how you want your day to go, rather than what you want to accomplish that day. In other words, select one behavior that will help you accomplish the many tasks on your list for that day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are a few examples? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I intend to be kind to myself today I intend to be mindful today I intend to use my creativity to find solutions I intend to forgive others ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Using a journal to record these intentions is key to your success. This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and this years subject is Loneliness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sometimes, a lot of what I do with some of my clients is to help them from feeling loneliness in their everyday lives. Yesterday was Spring Ostara. Ostara marks the Spring Equinox, which happens between March 19 -23. Ostara is a pagan celebration of the German goddess Eostre and the origins of the Christian celebration of Easter. As the beginning of spring Ostara is a good time to literally and figuratively plant seeds for the future. In modern day living Ostara is also good time to start taking action on the ideas and goals you started thinking about around Yule and Imbolc. What you plant during Ostara will be ready to be harvested during the coming summer month. Ostara is also a good time to freshen up your home and life. Take time to do some spring cleaning. Cleaning isn't just limited to your home. Take some time to declutter and clean up areas where you spend a lot of time, like your car, your computer (delete those old emails!) or your work office. Spring cleaning should include your clothes and wardrobe. But, if your not sure what to purge do this simple trick and it will help you. All you need to do is turn all your coat hangers around so they face away from you, over the course of a month, whenever you wear something turn the coat hanger the other way round. But so many people fail to do this part. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let’s use an example. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One of my clients wants less digital time, so we eliminate any digital items from the bedroom. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Taking your phone to bed for the alarm isn’t sticking to it. Today is World Mental Health Day⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Like many, life situations can play havoc with your mental health as well as your physical health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here is a small extract from my book on how Creative Feng Shui came to fruition. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Prior to this, for many years it felt like I was constantly searching for the missing piece of the puzzle, seeking fulfilment in trying new things, launching new things and helping others build their aspirational life and business. The problem? I was so busy prioritising everyone else and doing everything for everyone else, I forgot about my own dreams. I had no boundaries. No vision, no goals, and I started to completely neglect myself in more ways than one. I was basically telling the Universe that I didn’t matter so ‘go ahead and prioritise everyone else’. Over a period of time my health deteriorated, and I was feeling exhausted, lost, alone, sad and broken. Burnout set in, the panic attacks started, and I found myself withdrawing more and more. My confidence was at an all-time low, and it took hitting rock bottom to realise that I was destined for bigger things and definitely made for more than THIS. Something had to change. My husband, Andy, could see I had lost my sparkle and he just wanted his wife back. He wanted me to be happy again, but I didn’t have an ounce of happiness within me, and that’s hard to admit without acknowledging how much sadness I had manifested. At the time, it felt like I had no right to be unhappy. I was in a loving marriage, we had moved to a beautiful part of New York, and we were travelling around the country experiencing incredible things, but I wasn’t adapting well to change, and I was a world away from embracing the life available to us. I needed to heal. I needed to look within and make some significant changes but didn’t want to go down the route of medication or other methods which I didn’t feel aligned with.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you want to find your missing piece?

During that timeframe, push all mental clutter aside and focus all of your attention and energy on the task at hand. Visualise your desk that is clear of everything other than that one task which you’re going to be working on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Make sure that your desk stays completely clear of all other items during the entire chunk of time that you’ve devoted to this task.
