So I have about a million other unfinished projects around the house I need to get done but my brain decided I needed a new 1. I was tired of man handling the paper roll when I cut paper for bins so I built a holder out of scraps I had laying around in the garage. It's not perfect but it's going to cut the time I spend cutting paper in half. Best part is all it cost was my time and even then it was time I enjoyed. Mam inżyniera z technologii żywienia człowieka a nie wiedziałam, że cebula produkuje etylen, przez co może negatywnie wpływać na przechowywanie takich warzyw jak ziemniaki czy kapusta. Od niemal 15 lat prowadzę sama „gospodarstwo domowe”, gotuję samodzielnie posiłki pewnie od 20 a do niedawna nie wiedziałam, że najwyższa półka w lodówce to ta najcieplejsza. Przechowywanie żywności to wiedza tak podstawowa a jednocześnie tak niedostępna, że aż trudno uwierzyć, że tak mało specjalistów o tym głośno mówi. Nie wstydźcie się zatem jeśli popełniacie te błędy. Nie ma w tym nic zaskakującego :) Ale jest coś, co możemy zrobić: Po 1. Powoli wprowadzać zmiany w swojej kuchni, by błędów popełniać jak najmniej i zyskać na dobrym przechowywaniu żywności. Po 2. Przekazywać tę wiedzę dalej naszym dzieciom. They always wanted a little bistro with farm to table curated dishes and great cocktails so it was a match made in heaven. Goldfinch's menu has many gluten-free and vegan options and they do their best to accommodate all diets. They quickly fell in love with Black Mountain and want to use Goldfinch as a way to serve the community. They've already supported the town through fundraising nights and hosting engaging events like plant swaps.
