Went to Cassadaga, New York for a few days! I saw a fox🦊 every morning, a beaver🦫 swam right past our deck, and I spotted deer 🦌in the woods!! Oh and the ducks, lots of ducks!!🦆 We took walks in the snow (it snowed a lot) and went to Leolyn woods nature trail and saw the pet cemetery and Inspiration Stump. The pet cemetery was founded in 1900 in honor of two draft horses that fell through the ice on the lake during ice harvesting and died. It was a beautiful and peaceful place, located in an old growth forest 💚 . Newton Park Walk 20231007_3.70 Whilst not the walk I had originally planned it certainly proved memorable for all the right reasons. Now principally known as the main campus for Bath Spa University, this Duchy of Cornwall Estate, is a fascinating place to walk. Whilst its many historic buildings are not open to the general public the grounds, which includes woodlands, a stream, lakes and a walled gardens, are. On my last visit work was underway to repair the upper lake, which had become silted up and overgrown. 22.09.17 Joffre Lake (Lower to middle lake) (1)🏞 아침부터 예약해서 운 좋게 갈 수 있었던 Joffre Lake! 하이킹 후 다음날 Whistler도 갔지만 포스팅은 조프리만! 힘들다고해서 걱정하며 시작한 하이킹이였지만 Lower Lake를 보는 순간 너무 예뻐서 하이킹을 잘 할 수 있지않을까 하는 생각이 들었다. 조프리의 하이라이트라고 불리는 Middle Lake는 왜 조프리가 리틀 록키라고 불리는지 알 수 있을만큼 예쁜색으로 우릴 반겨주었다. 다른 사람들보다 일찍와서 사람없는 Middle Lake를 볼 수 있었음!! Fortunately, we booked in the early morning and could go to Joffre Lake! Everyone said 'It would be tough hiking' so I worried but when I saw really pretty Lower Lake, I looked forward to seeing Middle and upper lake and thought I might be able to hike well. Middle Lake is known as the highlight of Joffre. It welcomed us with so pretty colors that we could understand why Joffre Lake is called Little Rocky. 20230421 Little walk to Middle Lake Craig與Emma今天都要上班，剩我一個人在家 前兩天下了一些春雪，而且還不小!! 但因為氣溫太高，大約7~9度吧，雪沒幾個小時就融化了 閒著無聊，Craig建議我可以去外面走走，附近有個Middle Lake距離不遠 走路大概半個多小時就到了 但他也建議我，已經春天了，如果要去必須要帶著防熊噴霧 🤣 並教我怎麼使用 於是午餐過後我就帶著防熊噴霧還有一些水就出發了 沿路都沒有遇到人，走在馬路上也只有一兩台車經過 原本應該安靜地令人嚮往與舒服 但時不時就覺得怕怕的，怕森林裡面看到熊出沒... 其實整趟旅途一直覺得怪可怕的 尤其走到Middle Lake之後走進森林裡面，很怕熊、美洲獅之類的出沒... 時常回頭張望四周 湖也不大，這個湖應該過不久就會消失了，沒有水流進來 看了旁邊的介紹板，每年都在縮小 湖面上還有一些鴨子等等的鳥類在閒晃 原本想沿著湖走一圈，所以從湖旁邊的小徑走進森林內 跟著偶爾才出現的告示牌走 但好像也沒辦法繞一圈 看著手機的GPS好像離湖越來越遠 於是我也沒有走到底就回頭了 整趟旅途大概三個小時左右而已 回到家時，雪已經融化了 等Craig回來後我們去了Canmore，他們去辦事，我去酒吧等他們 這家酒吧的啤酒很好喝呢!!! 1.2. 早上與下午的對比，雪融超快 3. 前往Middle Lake路上 4.5.7.8.9.
