The area beyond consciousness is, from the point of view of the whole personality, the area of creativity "par excellence", but from the point of view of consciousness it is the area of non-existence. The creative realm of non-existence in a man is a temple and a temenos, a source and a paradise; As stated in Canaanite mythology, this is the central point at which El, the Great God, sits "where streams rise at the source of two seas." However, at the same time it is the center of the mandala with all its symbols, the location of the divine as an Anthropos; ". This area of “non-existence”, “nothingness”, numenous “non-ego” is in tension with the conscious part of the personality, the ego, autonomously separated from it by a certain curtain. Their introverted interpenetration and reunion is the realization of "individuation", and the extroverted one it is a creative act directed outward.
