So proud of this guy! It was not an easy six weeks for him because he’s so fearful of new places, sounds, sudden movements and men. But, he was very brave and that’s all I can ask for. There were times that were too much for him and it made me sad but overall he made progress every week. He’s far from confident in that environment but we are so grateful for how wonderful everyone was in understanding his struggles. Proof that kids are always watching. The last few weeks we had people working on our yard, removing trees and laying new sod. Every day I would take them water and Gatorade as I know how unforgiving this Brentwood heat is. Today is was outside working on our drip irrigation in the backyard, and my sweet Matias brings me out a cup of water. The house I’ve never had to have a miscarriage in and the house I got to bring my babies home to. 🥲 In my memories I was pregnant on this day last year and was about to go through a miscarriage and didn’t know. My post and my words were so hopeful about traditions I would start with my kids on Valentine’s. Time is very strange… I’ve been pregnant, gone through a miscarriage and gotten pregnant and had live birth in the last 365 days… and that is very strange to think about. And I do not take it for granted. 🌈 But as far as traditions go, we tried to dress them up and do cute pictures and Charlie had a blowout and we had to cut her outfit off with scissors so we will be taking Valentine’s photos with them not on V day 😅 And technically they are in my belly so they are in this photo. ❤️ I’ll save more of this love fest for your birthday post tomorrow 💗

4 years ago today, I was headed to Disney for the very first time thanks to Mark!! 🥰🏰 In 2018 at 36 years old, I finally got to go to Walt Disney World for the first time. Mark brought me to the magical place lol. I was SO excited and it was an amazing trip! We had a great time. I remember I was in awe with so many things and loved every minute of it. Little did Mark know I would be hooked after this trip 😂 lol…we have gone 3 times and I’ve gone 3 times with the girls in my running group. Now in a little over a month th I’m headed back for my 7th trip again with the girls as well as in Jan and April 😄✨. Mark and I will go again after all the new rides and stuff and open so maybe late 2023 or early 2024. And in 2024 I hope to go to Disneyland for the first time and do a race over there. 🤗💖🏰 Disney has def changed since my first trip in 2018 and not all for the better sadly..Now it’s harder to plan (so much phone stuff and i feel takes away from being present in the parks), more expensive, less perks etc…but there is something special you just feel when you are there. So Ryan has been keeping an eye out for cool date ideas that weren’t an option on Vanisle. This one in particular gave me intense social anxiety as I was getting ready(The worst I’ve had in awhile). I felt like it maybe wasn’t going to be my scene or my kind of down to earth people. My hands were so f’n shaky.
