Edemame is not feeling very good today. Yesterday she didn't eat her breakfast and was lethargic. Of course I brought her to work. She had a fever of 39.8C, and had green nasal discharge. She got some subcutaneous fluids, a few injections to help with the fever and settle her stomach, and some antibiotics. Her fever has resolved but she is still quiet and being very sucky. Poor sicky girl. Her brother, Blue, was also having some upper respiratory symptoms so he had a similar treatment and today he is back to normal. Soybean is showing no symptoms. Fostering kittens isn't always easy. They are babies. They get sick easily. On Monday 9/25, I drove to Philly to save a life. Please welcome my latest foster, Tiger Cub, to the Kitty B&B🎉 Tiger Cub (his original name) was dumped at the city shelter when his human died 😿. He was going to be euthanized due to lack of space. Missing his human, his home, and his belongings.. His story broke my heart and I knew I wanted to save him. He arrived with a kitty cold (last photo). He's at least 8 years old, super gentle, affectionate, trusting, and loves human attention. I've already told him that I will find someone to love him and to grow old with 💜

Kovu is a 4 month old kitten who came to our rescue with hip damage, joint pain & a fractured leg (with bone protruding out), ankle & toes. He was terrified & wanted nothing to do with people. However, since being in his foster home, he has gotten so comfortable & confident. He & the 5 year old girl, Leinah, in his foster home really love one another. Kovu has an amazing little personality! ☺️ His name says it all! He was definitely super nervous at first when he came to the rescue, however; that did not last very long at all! He is such a strong little guy! He loves to be snuggled & to play with his toys. If he thinks you’re not paying him attention he will rub all over you & then turn over for a belly rub. 😋 He seriously has the best disposition, a little bit of sass, a lot of play & a whole lot of love! He is a little unbalanced on his feet at times, but he never lets that bother him. After being in foster for a couple of weeks he is feeling better and getting a lot more playful and is ready for his forever family. He doesn’t seem to pay much attention to other animals around him so I think he’d be good as an only pet or with other pets in the household.
