DONATION ANNOUNCEMENT Hello everyone, it is with great excitement that the Otis Kpop Club has chosen PCRF (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund) as the organization that we will be donating 100% of our festival ticket funds to. @thepcrf is an organization made to address the medical and humanitarian crisis facing Palestinian youths in the Middle East. PCRF mainly supports in giving medical supplies to those in Gaza. In addition to this, the organization utilizes its funds to fly patients out to receive the treatment that they need, and also provide relief food. Our club hopes to use our platform as a way to spread awareness of the violence occurring in Palestine. Palestine is an Asian country, and as such, Palestinians are recognized as part of the AAPI community. As a club stemming from AAPI influence, we would like to show support towards Palestinians as they go through difficult times. We have two donation links in our linktree, one where you can personally donate directly to their Urgent Gaza Relief and one where you can donate to the organization as a whole for all their projects (this one is OKC affiliated). At check in, you can show us proof of donation from either of the links for entry into the festival. Thank you all and we hope to take a step forward in supporting Palestinians who are suffering in incredibly turbulent times. Both the general public and Otis students are welcome to attend this festival. Otis students are admitted for free by showing their ID Card. They must pre-rsvp in order to receive a goodie bag. Hi everyone Otis Kpop Club here to announce our Itinerary for our closely approaching festival day🤭🤭 We have lots in store for everyone including: amazing art merch, delicious food, mini games, dancing, and performance! For his first solo exhibition with Diane Rosenstein Gallery, Los Angeles-based interdisciplinary artist @lorenzo_hurtado_segovia Lorenzo Hurtado Segovia will show recent landscape paintings, a woven textile, and a pall – a sculpture in drawn textile, beadwork, and acrylic paint. Titled 'Vida, pasión, y muerte,' it is placed in the middle of a gallery space he has called "A Viewing Room." Hurtado Segovia’s artwork is rooted in craft traditions, Christian theology, art history, and ethnographic motifs.
