Here we go it’s time for Part 3 of our journey to baby #3…. After the devastating loss in June, and getting that message from Bella I decided to “keep trying”. In July I went through another round of IVF. I told my self that though I was mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted I wasn’t ready to quit. I poured myself into lots of positive thinking and self love. I knew my body was capable and quitting was not an option. I underwent another egg retrieval and again only ended up with 2 embryos. Here we go again… so again we decided to transfer these 2 beautiful “em babies” and pray that this is our time. Now the wait… anyone who has been through this knows how tough the wait is between your transfer and the blood test. Your mind races, you read into every twinge inside your body, and are just so hopeful yet so scared. I bought a million pregnancy tests and started testing about 5 days after my transfer. They tell you not to do this but I had been through too much already and I wanted to prepare myself and my heart in case it didn’t work. I remember looking at the test and not seeing anything. I tried not to get down bc it was still very early and about 5 days till my blood test. I went about my day still thinking about the test. I don’t know but later that evening I decided to pull the test out of the trash to look at it again (iykyk) and when I did I saw something. It was very very faint but it was there. I told myself that it had to be an evaporated line from being in the trash so long but I kept it just in case. The next day I tested again this time leaving it out a little longer…. And there it was a faint line! Was this real? August 15, 2021 (Noah’s birthday) and 2 days before my blood test I took a digital test and it said PREGNANT! It worked, we were pregnant! We had the blood test and our pregnancy was confirmed. It looked like 1 of our 2 embryos took and we were having a baby! At 6 weeks we saw the flicker of a heart and at 8 weeks I heard our baby’s heartbeat and I “graduated” from our fertility clinic! Не без приключений, но мы все-таки попали в визовый центр на собеседование! Теперь ждём результат. Очередь на получение виз не большая, она огромная! Сотрудники ведут запись в очередь на услугу приёма без очереди, которая стоит 6000 рублей. И вчера в этой очереди было уже 170 человек! Связано это с переносами и последовавшим техническим перегрузом системы, когда запись выдавалась только на один день и свободные слоты висели ровно в полночь несколько секунд буквально. Приехали мы к 8.00,перед нами уже было 15 человек! Отстояли очередь на запись, которая началась только после девяти. А записавшись, людям остаётся ждать смс с датой и временем приёма. Сотрудники сразу предупреждают, что произойдёт это не раньше, чем через неделю. Но так как причина нашего обращения уважительная, я написала обращение в визовый о том, что у нас compelling cases, ответ пришёл через пять минут, тут же к нам спустились и пригласили на собеседование. Буквально через час нас уже приняли. Теперь надеемся, что рассмотрение документов не затянется и ответ будет положительным🙏 #нашечудо #ourmiracle
This is CDH. This is living in a hospital. This is multiple machines that you eventually learn and the beeping becomes more normal than silence. This is lots of tests, lots of waiting, good news and bad news. This is 6 surgeries, 4 of which were emergency and performed within 24hr. This is patience and ALOT of trust. This is a lot of therapy to catch up and doctor appointments that don’t stop. This is learning, growing and then healing. This is trauma that lays dormant but can be triggered at any time. Een nieuw begin.. Deze week drukke dagen achter de rug en voor de boeg.. Na ruim 11 jaar bij mijn laatste werkgever ben ik daarna ruim 3 jaar "stay at home mom" geweest en vond ik het wel weer tijd om meer als een moeder, vrouw en shop verslaafde te zijn 🤪 Afgelopen dinsdag en woensdag ben ik gestart bij een nieuwe werkgever en gisteren werd onze kleurrijke kleuter 7 🥳 Ik ben dan altijd emotioneel omdat de eerste 3 jaren heel erg moeilijk waren voor mij, maar ook voor de rest van het gezin.. Het schoolreisje wat Esperanza gisteren op haar verjaardag had en dat ik meeging als "hulpmama" maakte alles weer goed ♡ Vandaag trakteren op school en morgen familie feestje met m'n vaders kant.
