For those of you who have been following my music journey from the beginning, know that eleven years ago I started my music journey on the Country Music Festival Circuit. I competed for about three years and during that time I won numerous awards. I was mentored from some extremely talented humans who I am honoured to call my friends, and I had the opportunity to sing with some amazing Country Artists like Doug Bruce and Tania Kernaghan. I learnt so much during my Country Music days, but my curiosity to learn about other genres took me off the festival circuit and I started on a new journey to become the Pop Artist I am today. I have actually written quite a few original country songs over the years like ‘Bring On The Rain’, which I received Top 5 Songwriter of the Year for, at the CCMA National Songwriting Awards at the 2020 @tcmf_official, and ‘You Always Told Me’, which was awarded Top 30 in the Country Section of the 2022 Australian Songwriting Awards. BIG LOVE is soft bodied fem 💗 Can we flash back to 2018 for a sec 😅 there was a time when I would never share full bodied pictures, you could never catch me in a crop top and I definitely wouldn’t be sharing pics in bikinis 🥲 I hid away behind boring clothes and never accepted myself. It was also around this time I took action and discovered the #bodypostivemovement. I started watching plus size fashion creators on YouTube like @loeybug and it wasn’t till then I started trying to express myself through fashion. I bought my first crop top 🥹 and rocked it. I also remember around this time that ANTM came back to our screens and although a very toxic show I watched to bring back the nostalgia. It was that which led me to @khrystyana and @the.realcatwalk 💜 again taking the next big steps on my journey of BIG LOVE. During the lockdowns our community expanded with @modelworkshops and I got to meet my dancing queen @binge.to.bopo 🥰 I decided at this point that I was going to use the messages and lessons taught by these wonderful people and put them in my music 🎶 I decided to let go and fully embrace every part of me and do what I’ve dreamed of since I was a child 🥹 I’m so greatful for this wonderful community and all it has taught me. No matter where you are in life, you have the ability to start a new journey.
