Saturday, May 28, 2022 We survived the 50+ mph gale force wind and dust storm in Nevada. Thankfully, my camera and ultra telephoto lens were both dressed for the occasion, wearing their body and lens skins!! I was able to try out my new lens beanbag and gimbal for the long weekend adventure. I was very pleased with how everything handled in the elements and how smoothly the gimbal worked with a huge lens. The weekend assignment was, once again, wild horses. Due to the windstorm, the wild horses were very hard to spot. They like to take cover and lay low in the tall sage. We were fortunate to find a new band that I haven’t photographed before in Silver Springs. Here are a few photos from the trip.
