Pero entonces Pablo le gritó: "No te hagas ningún daño; aquí estamos todos". El carcelero pidió una lámpara, se precipitó hacia dentro, y temblando, se arrojó a los pies de Pablo y Silas. Después los sacó de allí y les preguntó: "¿Qué debo hacer para salvarme?" Ellos le contestaron: "Cree en el Señor Jesús y te salvarás, tú y tu familia". Y les explicaron la palabra del Señor a él y a todos los de su casa. El carcelero se los llevó aparte, y en aquella misma hora de la noche les lavó las heridas y enseguida se bautizó él con todos los suyos. Después los invitó a su casa, les preparó la mesa y celebraron una fiesta familiar por haber creído en Dios. #PalabraDeDios #Reflexión Definitivamente que no hay experiencia más gozosa en el hombre que la que produce Dios en el corazón del creyente y en aquel que lo lleva a la fe. En este pasaje, en el cual hemos visto cómo Dios toca el corazón del carcelero y lo lleva a la fe, podemos percibir el gozo que se generó no solo en el hombre sino en Pablo y Silas, de tal modo que después de curarles las heridas preparó una fiesta, por el hecho de "haber creído". Por ello, te invito a que vayas perdiendo el miedo de hablar de Jesús, de aprovechar toda oportunidad que Dios te presenta para ser su testigo y para ayudar a tu comunidad a conocer y a amar a Dios...👇👇👇

But Paul shouted out in a loud voice, "Do no harm to yourself; we are all here." He asked for a light and rushed in and, trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas. Je ne suis pas prête à quitter cette série et je suis plus que ravie de ces deux derniers tomes offerts par @phoenixbasher_auteure et @f.v.estyer ❤️ Je ne vous apprend rien, c’est évidemment un coup de cœur et je vais me faire un plaisir de développer mon avis. « Après avoir rejoint l’équipe de hockey de l’université, Silas Daugherty n’a pas le choix, il doit sortir de sa coquille pour se faire de nouveaux amis sur le campus de Saint Charles. Il rencontre Eva, qui ne sait plus qui elle est réellement après l’épreuve de cet été. Entre eux, une relation se crée, en partant d’une forte amitié jusqu’à un lien bien plus profond qu’ils n’avaient pas imaginé. » J’aime que ce tome nous permette de rencontrer un nouveau personnage mais également d’en apprendre plus sur Nyx puisque Silas est son petit frère. Sans parler d’Eva qui est un personnage que je voulais vraiment connaître plus en profondeur, et par laquelle je ne suis pas du tout déçue. Elle est loin du côté « superficiel » qu’elle pouvait dégager dans les premiers tomes et son histoire m’a beaucoup touché. Dans ce tome on parle de sujets forts et d’actualité comme la religion, le droit des femmes à disposer de leurs corps etc. Et je trouve que les autrices ont fait un très bon travail sur ce sujet sans pour autant alourdir le roman et l’histoire. Peut-être que d’autres auraient aimé plus de développement, mais pour moi c’était très bien. Et pour parler de la romance, que dire ? C’est doux, plein de bienveillance, ils apportent chacun quelque chose à l’autre et voir leur évolution tout au long du récit m’a réchauffé le cœur. Sans parler du développement du personnage de Silas à qui je tire mon chapeau. Cet homme élevé avec des préjugés énormes qui apprend à se déconstruire, n’a pas peur de partager ses réflexions et ses faiblesses : je ne peux qu’adhérer. D’autant plus que tout son passif ne disparaît pas en un claquement de doigts, c’est réaliste et c’est tout ce qu’on aime.

Les dieux du campus, tome 5, Silas, Phoenix B. Asher, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 📚Résumé : Silas Daugherty n’avait pas vraiment prévu de se retrouver sur le campus de Saint Charles. Tout comme il ne pouvait pas refuser l’opportunité en or qui lui a été offerte de rejoindre l’équipe de hockey de l’université. À présent loin de sa famille, il n’a d’autre choix que de sortir de sa coquille et de se faire de nouveaux amis. Il ne pourra pas toujours compter sur sa sœur, Nyx, pour être son pilier. Ce qu’il avait encore moins prévu, c’est sa rencontre avec Eva. Eva, qui ne sait plus vraiment comment sourire, après l’épreuve de cet été. La jeune fille solaire que tout le monde connaît s’est renfermée sur elle-même, a du mal à aller de l’avant, à réapprendre à faire confiance. Jusqu’à Silas. Entre eux, c’est comme une évidence. Doucement, ils vont se rapprocher, s’apprivoiser. Et ce qui devait n’être qu’une forte amitié pourrait peut-être se transformer en un lien bien plus profond, qu’aucun d’eux n’avait envisagé. 🌻 Mon avis : Silas est un tome 5 et je dois avouer que les trois premiers tomes de la saga ne m'ont pas vraiment plu. Je me suis tout de même acharnée et j'ai adoré le tome 4, c'est la raison pour laquelle je me suis aussi plongé dans ce tome. Ce que je redoutais, c'était surtout une romance MF proche des tomes 1 et 3, mais j'ai été agréablement surprise. Les thématiques abordées sont vraiment intéressantes ; religions, avortement, les histoires d'amour unilatérales. Je voulais surtout retrouver Eva qui a toujours été l'un de mes personnages préférés, notamment son caractère à n'en faire un peu qu'à sa tête, tout en étant, quand même, en partie vulnérable. Silas était mignon et ce friend's to lovers à vraiment bien marché pour ma part. Ça a été pareil pour les commencer vraiment il m’a falloir un temps énorme, sachant que je n’arrive toujours pas à ouvrir le sixième parce que pour moi c’est pas possible que ce soit fini. J'ai adoré ! Ce livre m'a littéralement emporté, ce n'est que douceur, compréhension, ouverture d'esprit et deconstruction des clichés. Il complète parfaitement le premier tome, dans toutes les zones d'ombres que l'on a avec la famille de Nyx. Puisque Silas est son petit frère. Parlons un peu de nos protagonistes. Silas vient d'une famille très particulière, enfants d'un prédicateur, membres d'une fratrie de 18 enfants. Et même si ça lui brise le cœur, il va décider de suivre sa voix et de partir rejoindre sa sœur. Et c’est comme ça qu’il va comprendre que il a été endoctriner pendant des années. Et qu’il va faire face au monde extérieur. C'est aussi un hockeyeur qui fait partie d'une équipe assez populaire, pourtant il n'a rien a voir avec ses coéquipiers. Il est même complètement différent des héros que l'on voit d'habitude, Silas manque de confiance en lui, il est timide, rougit très facilement et est plutôt solitaire. Silas pense beaucoup trop, il se perd dans ses pensées (comme moi), ça m'a fait craquer. J'ai adoré retrouver ce genre de héros, ça change, c'est très agréable.
