Spring is in the air which means time for growth and change. Gone are the lazy days of winter and it’s its place I’m reinstating routines that I know will serve me better. First up: getting back to walking 10km each day—but not all in one go. I make it a practice to be outdoors for sunrise, anyhow, so I’m really just tacking an extra 5 minutes onto either side of my morning walk to increase it by another km. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator and getting up more frequently to move also add up quickly. And at the end of the day, I take a shorter spin around my block until I hit my target (which, if I implement the above, is never more than a 20-30 minute commitment). After everything was put away, I went ahead and took the max dose I'm allowed. Then it was a race to get some "food" in my stomach to keep any nausea at bay. I received the hospital's survey in the mail today. I don't like having make a negative review, but I feel it's important to give them some honest feedback. This gorgeous client came to see me from Wisconsin, she was extremely tired of coloring her hair every 3 weeks so we decided to match her hair with her roots. In this transformation I first did a color extractor to remove some of the artificial colors, I then lightened the whole hair in foils by taking very thin sections using @redken flash lift power 9 with bonding inside with 20 vol and leaving her natural roots untouched until I reached level 10 pale blonde, rinsed, towel dried and pre-toned the yellow with Redken shade eq 1/4 10VV + 3/4 10P with equal amount processing solution for 10 minutes. Rinsed the hair again, dried 80%, and applied Redken shades eq 10T with an equal amount of processing solution for 30 minutes. Then dry hair again and create the low lights in foils to match the pattern of her roots using Redken gels 5AB mixed with 10 vol for about 30 min(when applying the low light on silver base hair it won’t go as brassy when it fades), when its time to rinse the dark parts first apply conditioner on the silver hair outside the foils to avoid the silver from getting stained, For Treatment I used the amazing K18REPAIR™ chelator before the color extractor, then the mist to protect the hair from the next lightening service, it also replaces any bond builder you used to use previously. Finally, I used the k18 K18REPAIR™ leave-in repair mask after the last shampoo and skipped the conditioner to repair the hair that was compromised during the chemical process. The total time for this transformation was 9 hours. Today I went to celebrate my daughters housewarming and birthday. Next week she’s going to Korea for three weeks so she’s not home on her birthday. Now that I’m working so much I really appreciate to spent time with the right people. I value even more the time with my family and friends. I also miss my family in Spain and I’m not sure when I’m able to go and visit them again. So all the working bring some amazing experiences and joy but also have a cost. It’s important to make the right choices so what’s gained from the work is worth the price that’s payed or else it might be a regret later. Does it have great supportive and dedicated co-workers, does it give a good paycheck, is it exiting and makes you happy. If not, no matter what then consider if it’s worth your time. C’est une question qui revient souvent! On voit tout et son contraire dans les magasines de mode et beauté par exemple. On parle des couleurs complémentaires, ➡️ orange/ bleu, violet / jaune, vert/ rouge principalement. Alors oui ça peut marcher dans certaines cas, mais il faut surtout prendre en compte sa colorimétrie 🌈. J’en parlerai souvent (c’est notamment ce que je fais découvrir à mes clientes en conseil en image et d’ailleurs si tu ne me connais pas encore tu peux aller visiter mon compte dédié @kellimagekd 😉) La colorimétrie ce sont les teintes qui vont correspondre le mieux à ton teint, la couleur de tes yeux et tes cheveux naturels. Tons chauds ou froids. Donc voici dans les slides quelques pistes mais le mieux est de faire une étude personnalisée et pour ça tu peux écrire « couleurs » dans les commentaires et je reviens vers toi!
