Earning your first one, two, three, four or five million is a milestone that places you in a place of advantage, but for the lack of someone that can manage you and that money, many lose it and slide back to being poor again. Looking back right now, many do not know what to do with such opportunity and lose the inherent advantage. Just so you k ow 80% of people never get to see one million in the lifetime! Growing money doesn't start with giving money away, it start with growing money. It is seed time before harvest, and seed time isn't offerings essentially, it putting money in places and ventures where it will grow the best! When you learn and know how to grow money, you have beaten poverty to it, and have become empowered to give. "He giveth seed to the shower!" What you do with your seed money will determine the harvest you create. Sowing isn't offerings, it planting money in ventures where it will grow. Your tithe, offerings, first fruit and partnership should be a stream flowing consistently and increasingly from your harvest stream. To give you have to "prosper" and "earn." The person who's major slant to financial growth is tithing, firstfuit, partnership, and giving to grow financially isn't the best mind you should have for financial growth. Your tithes, first fruit, partnership and giving is subject to how well you are "propsering." Get financial mentors who have mastered the art of growing and multiply money. Some people can help you grow 1, 2, or 3 million into a financial empire. You need such people beyond those that pray and anoint you to prosper and who's flawed teaching of giving more to get more will drain you sooner than later. The person who is helping you earn more is actually empowering your giving than the person insisting you give more to get more. Scriptures predicates your giving on your having, and being able to give. Giving is always predicated on being financially able to do so, and of course there is the blessing that comes upon your efforts and make you to abound more and more. Church plays a role in your spiritual development. There are thing you can never and will never get from church! You won't make it far of all the information you are running your life with is all that your pastor teaches, in less of course you have confused spirituality for mediocrity. Your Pastor is there to teach you the WORD, and train you for the work of ministry, and develop you into a matured believer in the measure, of the stature of Christ. The onus is on you to develop yourself mentally and professionally. You must run the gauntlet of professional development and growth. Further your education, take professional exams, pursue you MBA, Masters, Ph.D and strive for mastery in your field and you don't need anyone blessing or approval to do these. And being spiritual isn't a cloak for lack of ambition and professional dwarfism. Everything shouldn't be a breakthrough, but the product of diligent engagement. The time to place diligence, effort and learning on the same place we have place prayer and faith is now. You can not talk yourself to the top that you aren't tooling and ready for. No, you won't get a job you aren't qualified for! The Bible says to become a vessel unto honour, you must cleanse yourself. Just my thoughtsโฆ. What is โSIMPLEโ to understand may not be โEASYโ to do. Therefore, I choose not to say โsimple and easyโ in the same breath. Why?๐ What is โeasy to doโ is also โeasy not to doโ even if it is โsimple to understandโ.๐ Take for example, achieving weight loss is โsimpleโ, but it is โnot easyโ to sustain long term success!๐ ๐ฌ When time, effort, discipline and self control are required for long term success, it is โnot easyโ to execute and maintain, consistently. If it was โeasyโ, why are so many people experiencing yo-yo effect or subsequent weight rebound after their initial weight loss??!!๐ฌ๐ Let me share another personal example of โsimple and easyโ cannot be in the same tag team. To celebrate my recent birthday last Easter Sunday, I booked in advance a table for three for dinner at Qi Lai Feng Restaurant (198 Geylang Road) through the boss Melvin. My family and I enjoyed our dinner there with great food, service and ambience! After dinner, the two bosses Melvin and Carmen surprised me when they presented four pieces of delicious Chinese pastry with their compliments representing a birthday cake for me and they sang a birthday song too! It was a โsurprise wowโ to me! Their โsimple gestureโ meant a lot, especially to me! To me, it reflected the heart, kindness and generosity of Melvin & Carmen. It was โtheir simple gestureโ that left me a positive & lasting impression! Having said that, it was also reasonably โeasyโ for them not to do what they did as it required extra time and effort to prepare what they did. Regardless, I thank God for Melvin and Carmen! !
