‘‘Moroccan Morning’ - Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, is a city in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco. It’s known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. Often called the ‘Blue City’, one story says that the immigrant Sephardic Jewish community brought with them a tradition of painting buildings blue because it reminded them of the sky and the presence of God, but it hasn’t always been universally blue with most of the Medina painted white until the popularisation of tourism about 30 years ago when the rest of the city followed suit. 窮遊上海 (Poor travel to Shanghai) 2021.5.28 Shot on #Nikon camera #1933老场坊原是上海工部局宰牲场，1933年，由工部局出资兴建，著名英国设计师巴尔弗斯设计，中国当时的知名建筑营造商建造的上海工部局药厂在上海虹口区沙泾路正式建成。建筑面积约3.17万平方米，建筑层数5 层，结构方式為钢筋混凝土结构。据歷史记载，建造这个宰牲场光建筑和设备就花费三百三十多万元，全部采用英国进口的混凝土结构，墙体厚约50公分，两层墙壁中间采用中空形式，在缺乏先进技术的30年代，巧妙利用物理原理实现温度控制，即使在炎热的夏天依然可以保持较低的温度，可见这栋建筑当时工艺设计的前瞻性和先进性。如今場地融汇了国际美食购物，舉辦戏剧音乐演出及主题狂欢派对。许多创意小店、网红咖啡馆纷纷进驻，吸引了大量文艺青年前来。 It was originally the slaughter farm of the Shanghai Ministry of Industry.
