We had a blast at @cincinnatizoo today, per usual! Although today we tried something new! For the first time we ditched the stroller! This big kids just walked and I carried the babies tandem in our @babytula carriers like I normally do! The Biggs did great! Much better than I expected, so glad I was optimistic enough to go for it! Not the prettiest picture or the best lighting or the perfect composition, but this is my real life. Because this picture commemorates the fact that I survived our first trip to Target with BOTH kids, we had a morning at the park, and got everyone fed and home in time for naps. And we had minimal meltdowns along the way. (Me included!) Sometimes I think we spend too much time trying to show only the "perfect" on social media. You know... The perfect lighting, the best composition, and only the prettiest pictures. But let's be honest, y'all. That ain't realistic. Most of the time we are more concerned with "messing up our feed" than we are with being truly and deeply authentic with each other. I'm not saying the pretty stuff shouldn't be shared.
