This summer, our friends @locustvalleyteens and @locustvalleylibrary will be hosting their first annual Teen Film Festival presented by CATs (the Council of Advisory Teens) 🎥 For five hours of community service credit, submit a film inspired by the festival's theme, Inspired by Words. Your film must be inspired by a poem, a book or scene from a book, a folktale/fairytale, or a short story. Please note that your film must be a completely unique vision if you choose to base it on a folktale/fairytale. To participate, you must be a teen entering grades 6-12. Your film must be at least 1 minute long and no more than 7 minutes long. Before your film begins, include a title page that includes the title of your film, your name, and which text your film is based on. Send your film to [email protected]. Please note that your film must be uploaded to YouTube and emailed as a link. Include your full name, grade, and the title of your film in the body of your email. The winning film's creator will receive an awesome prize. The film will also be featured on the Locust Valley Library's website and Instagram.
