Today I wanted to show you again the Teo Cabanel Discovery set and explain why I think it's the best set available in the market. This set comes in a lovely jacquard pouch available in three colours. It contains 14 x 1.7 ml samples that will allow you to try the entire fragrance collection and enough fragrance blotter paper. The set costs only 30 EUR and comes with a 30 EUR voucher that can be redeem when buying any 30 or 100ml botlle. An amazing deal in my opinion. Whenever I try fragrances I start by spraying on the blotting paper and writing my first impressions. Then I go back to the papers after an hour or so and write my second impressions. When I have identified the fragrances I like and enjoy, I use them one day at a time to find out how they smell on my skin, the projection, the performance, and how they develop throughout the day. Now for the fragrances: Oh La La. Nutty, rooty, woody and sweet Je Ne Sais Quoi. Nutty, milky, sweet and green Et Voila. Clean like a cold mountain breeze, fresh, musky, soapy and mildly animalic Peau Salée. Like a coconut that has drifted on the sea and arrives to a warm sandy beach Rendez Vous. Indulgent, multidimensional, flowery and sweet Ca Boum. Tropical sweet, flowery and salty Encore. Sweet, warming, powdery wood. Like a sacristy in a Catholic church Tres French. Super flowery and fruity sweet Deja Vu. Leather and bubble gum. The only one I didn't enjoy Café Cabanel. Milky cinnamon, caramel and sweet Sandalwood. A grown up gourmet Barkhane. A sweet, warm, spice and oriental bomb Alahine. Clean cream amber Oha. A 50s vintage Chypre smell. Incredibly well balanced Kasar. Strong flowery, leather, oud and patchouli @teocabanel is a clean, Cruelty-free brand made in France with organic alcohol creating conscious and well-made #beauparfum. Oh Là Là | @teocabanel A fragrance for hazelnut lovers 🌰 Notes Hazelnut, saffron, orris, tobacco, sandalwood, musk This scent definitely shocked me at first! When I applied this fragrance for the first time, I immediately associated with the inside of a new car, or a new fancy leather handbag. It has that same clean, powdery leatheriness. But after wearing it more often, I completely fell in love with it. It opens up very powdery and suede like. But then after a few minutes you start to get the gorgeous and rich hazelnut note that is not too sweet or gourmand. Mixed with the orris and tobacco it creates a creamy and powdery scent profile. The saffron adds a very luxurious and slightly spicy touch. In the dry down, you’re left with a creamy sandalwood scent and still that toasty hazelnut. I am absolutely obsessed with Oh Là Là and think that it’s perfect for every occasion gender or season. Teo Cabanel has a lot of amazing and very unique perfumes so if you’re interested in any other scents, just let me know!
