I really love to watch videos on YouTube that are from the “what I miss or what I don’t miss from my childhood” compilation genre. Call me strange but I really miss coloured toilet paper. The other toilet related item that I absolutely do not miss is the classic 60’s toilet roll cover doll. My mum would take us with her when she visited friends. They smoked their menthol Cameos and drank instant coffee while us kids drank pop (usually Gingerale or Pepsi ) and made many trips to the bathroom. (at least she didn’t leave us in the car.) There were certain houses that I would try my hardest to hold it because I was terrified of seeing the Barbie doll wearing the crocheted ballgown and Bopeep bonnet that had mysteriously got her legs her trapped inside a roll of toilet paper. They were always perched on the toilet tank watching over the toilet paper consumption, logging the names of the greediest offenders. Unfortunately, a lot of people had them back then. Aim for 5 servings of fruits & veggies per day. 🏃🏽♀️ Get the body moving. Stagnant bodies are bad news. For lots of reasons. Keeping the body moving means the lining of the gut gets more stimulation and pushes digested food through faster. Get up. Go play! 💪🏽 Abdominal muscles are just one component in optimal pressure management. Without good pressure management in the abdominal cavity, nothing else can move through well. Get the core as strong and mobile as possible. 🚽 How your kiddo sits on the toilet really matters. If they aren’t comfortable and supported, they can’t relax their pelvic floor for complete emptying of the bowels. Give the feet proper support (no dangling) and get the knees higher than the hips.
