This was my fourth Kip Keino Classic as a spotter and the 6th for World Athletics events including WU18 and WU20. . A spotter is a specialist in Television Production and Athletics, making it a key role in live athletics production. . My role was to inform the director the track on-goings which he may miss like - DNS, changes in time, line switch, incidences, identify key athletes etc. . For the fifth year running, Live Eye Production House were in-charge of the live broadcast producing for NTV, the international feed of Kip Keino Classic during the two hour international window ( picked by SuperSport and other international broadcast rights holders) as well as live streaming on World Athletics YouTube channel. . @kipkeinoclassic is a @worldathletics Continental Tour Gold meeting, the only one in Africa. 🌿💒✨ Opening my heart to all church doors in Mallorca, Spain has been a truly transformative experience. During one of the best trips of my lifetime, I found myself drawn to these sacred spaces, often stopping by on my way home from school. Yes, you read that right – I went back to school at 41 years old, following a whim after filming in the Canary Islands. But that’s a story for another day. As the sun bathes the island in golden light, my heart is filled with peace and gratitude. Sundays always bring a moment of reflection, a chance to pause and appreciate the beauty of life. this gorgeous beam of light (light that beam! 🤣🫠) turned 34 yesterday. time is flying at an insane rate, but to be raised by two of my best friends alongside my ultimate bestie is something i am so very grateful for all of the time. erin is a true artist. she is a loyal friend, an innovative creator, a TELEVISION PRODUCER, a clever and silly human with so much talent and sparkle. it’s been a silly year and amidst the turbulence, she attended her first Emmy’s, went to Sundance, accepted an award on behalf of her first MAX show and worked on her second one, went to some major comedy shows and concerts, met celebrities and idols and innovators, and so much more. she traveled and sampled and wined and dined and continued to celebrate the gems in her life and is, still, one of the strongest people i know thru all the change and the growth. sisto, i’m so proud to share this window of time in this confusing and beautiful life with you. what an amazing 34 laps! thank YOU for being a friend. ✨
