We last visited here on Australia Day 2016, and it was just as amazing this time around. The weather was perfect for a hike - a glorious autumn day with views for miles. The short walk (2.5k return) to the shelter was a breeze, and everyone enjoyed the stunning scenery. With the house project done we can get back into the park to explore. Itβs been way too late long. Out in the Victoria Valley is Mt Thackeray. And while the distance is the walk is short at 2.5 return, do not be deceived. This is a grade 4 hike with rock scrabbling and bush bashing. The views however so with it.
