Haven't posted in a couple days but it's amazing the more you focus on things to be thankful for the more appreciation you can have for God and the people & things He gives you! If you can read my chicken scratch, you can see I couldn't stop listing things! Day 6 Victory Church-this month it will be 22 years since I became a member at VC, rarely missing a Sunday. Being able to invest in the church & church body and them in me. Victory Christian School-whether working with our homeschool schedule, the years I worked there, and all the support and encouragement the staff & the families have been for our family! My Jobs & being able to work. God always provides. Even when I didn't feel I was in the right place, His timing & provision is perfect! Day 7 Pastor Paul for sitting and watching him grow, learning so much from him as he continues to seek & hear from God. Pastor Sharon and Pastor BillyJoe for the legacy they have instilled in us and left for generations. I love her, her sweet nature, giant faith, and her joy especially with that great laugh! Pastor Ashley for her humor, her prayers, and her humbleness. Day 8 Pastor John he's so creative, witty, appreciative, encouraging, hard working, knowledgeable, and did I say hilarious! Superintendent Jennifer Edwards- so wise, hard working, organized, and supportive. Pastor Ryan & Jill-so wise, humble, appreciative, loving, kind, supportive, and will stop what they are doing teach, pray, and support because they walk in discernment. Day 4 of 3 things I'm thankful for. 1. My mother and that we can spend relaxing days like today together. 2. The strong work ethic she instilled into all 6 of us kids 3. For her salvation, she was newly saved at a Foursquare church before I was born. When she was in a car accident while pregnant of me, she flew out of the front windshield and bounced on her belly across the intersection. These are working hands. Quickly turning into wrinkly old lady hands, my nails are short and uneven. I've never been able to keep my nails long because they just get in the way of a busy life. When I've had a great day, my hands are either covered with paint, food, or dirt... and I love it. Here, they're covered in paint after this morning's efforts. No cadmium paint, so don't worry, but I do keep forgetting that this purple non toxic acylic paint stains my skin and is a mf to get off! Today, I'm grateful for these old hands, for everything they've done and are able to do. For all the meals they've cooked, plants they've tended to and nappies they've changed. Most of all, for the way they can translate my ideas from nothing into something tangible. They might be old and wrinkly, but they're pretty awesome. Thankful Thursday 🥰 Today and every day I am thankful that my girls have a love for triathlon, like there Mummy and Daddy.
