Reiki treats the whole person, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically simultaneously. Let's explore a few spiritual benefits. Reiki allows us the stillness and space for reflection, relief, and recalibration. Mindfulness is the state of awareness and consciousness in the present moment. Mindfulness opens us up to deeper wisdom, allowing us to process and gain clarity and focus from a calm and level place. In this place, we can also explore our human conditioning, our belief systems, and the shadow-self. We can observe our attachments and practice detachment. Reiki helps us to receive. When we are still, we can connect to our intuition and open our third eye's abilities. We can see things from a higher perspective. We can see our patterns and choices and where they are leading us to. We can see in between the lines, past the veil, and even the silver lining. Reiki helps with this transmutation by clearing out blocks that are weighing on our spirit, expanding space for our highest truth, and inviting more consciousness and love into our being and our human experience. My name is Jenny and I am a hearthkeeper for women's mysteries living in semi-rural South Wales. It is my joy to offer my community my services in sacred pregnancy, womb healing, and celebrancy for women’s rites of passage. I believe that every woman is a living altar who deserves to be witnessed and cherished in loving space. I am also a druid celebrant for nature-based rites of passage such as handfastings and baby blessings. My journey into women’s work truly began with my son’s waterbirth in 2013 which changed me forever and made me feel like I had discovered a hidden secret - that birth could be amazing, transcendent, spiritual and primal. I wanted to find out everything I could about birth as spiritual initiation and share it with all women. I first began supporting women and families in 2015 as a Daisy Birthing pregnancy yoga and antenatal teacher in Cardiff. I loved hearing the women’s stories and supporting them to discover their innate birthing power and wisdom. I then began attending births as a doula to hold space as a wise woman for this sacred feminine rite of passage. After freebirthing my daughter, I naturally moved into womb and ceremony work, offering my gentle presence, wisdom and divine inspiration to women at all stages of their life. Through sacred intention, energy healing and massage I am blessed to hold space for women to experience deep and profound connection to their wombs and hearts. In my personal life, I live in semi-rural South Wales with my husband, two children and black cat. I adore quiet living and simple pleasures. I love exploring nature, foraging for herbal remedies, singing, dancing, tarot, yoga and prayer. I can often be found curled up with a book, a big mug of tea and some chocolate. I consider myself a kitchen witch and have completed the Foundation Course In Herbal Medicine (NIMH) with Heartwood. Herbal medicine and folk remedies are two passions of mine. I am currently studying for my clinical herbalism qualification with the School of Evolutionary Herbalism. I want to express my appreciation for all my teachers past and present, in this lifetime and in all others.
How many times have you had a bespoke treatment that suits your individual requirements? When clients come for their treatment I always ask questions around how they are feeling, how are they in their body, how's their mental wellbeing etc. I lean into their responses and I'm able to suggest a treatment just for them. This could mean I combine a couple of therapies such and massage & reflexology to help treat specific areas of the body. Or if clients arrived stressed & have alot going on in their head I would possibly ask if they would be open to a few minutes of Reiki to bring them into their body and find the calm. I have found that when I attempt to force balance or force anything really, the results aren't ever what I had imagined... (Well, duh!) I believe in balance and that finding your rhythm is crucial for your well-being, but balance doesn't happen from force. It happens in stillness. It happens with ease and gentle integration. What good is all that know how if we don't apply it? That is an imbalance. Our inputs and outputs must match. So, if we start treating ourselves like the whole person we are, integrating our wisdom, utilizing our love, moving with ease, honoring our rhythm, finding our stillness, the balance is restored. So, the next time you are seeking a work/life balance, or a relationship balance, or a healthy balance, perhaps you don't need to seek out answers any longer, but to listen and gently integrate the wisdom you already have deep inside. If you are feeling an imbalance, maybe you are ignoring a deeper part of the whole equation. You are a whole being that needs your whole love in all ways and always. If you're feeling anything less than whole, Reiki is a beautiful first step in gaining stillness. It is the relief you need and the practice that will always bring you back to balance. 🌊 Cornwall. Spring 2024 🌊 What an epic experience this has been. Not only did we holiday on one of my all time favourite beaches, I kind of had an ulterior motive for being here this year. On Wednesday I got to meet the most beautiful soul - Womb Witch and Reiki Master, Trudi of @wildsamsara I’d been looking for a Reiki Master Teacher with whom to take my mentorship to Reiki Master, for a number of years. Paths crossed, and both energy and timing aligned. As they say, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I’m beyond honoured to have been mentored through this deeply personal and spiritual development by someone so knowledgeable, passionate and aligned with my own ethos.
