I had fun with this one. I always know I'm on the right track when someone connects with it before I'm even finished. I barely had it sketched on the bill and it was already sold and scheduled for a Christmas deadline. I put some extra risk, faith, and time into the eye and the squids and glad I did; I love being able to measure my progress from one piece to the next. My swordfish bill art is always done on authentic, responsibly sourced swordfish bills. Every one is an original work of art, finished off with a high gloss varnish, and optional driftwood mount.
