Flashback Friday ; 4 Years Ago, I didn't know I'll be in a space I am right now! "Becoming A Woman". If I can be honest with you,leaving a season and entering a completely new one is the hardest yet most fulfilling thing ever. Have you ever wondered why gold is expensive? The process of making it isn't easy! Right?There's alot of pressure being applied to it. It reminds me of this sentiment "God is a business Man and His Profit is Heavy." Whatever God wants to do,allow Him do it. You will reap sooner than you think. It's been a series of growth on growth the past few years,however 2024 stands out with some strenuous intensity! I don't know what He is Doing but He is definitely upto something. I am a sensitive person because there are some things that I don't like especially when it comes from relationships that you truly treasure. My emotions have been tested but at the moment I can say I am grateful I learnt how to Master them way earlier. Being emotionally Intelligent is something we all need to learn. Put it on top of that priority list.💯 There's alot to take in. I am aware everything happens for a reason 'and for His purposes. So I am allowing myself to make few mistakes in this season. Allowing Him to rewrite the mistakes. But above all giving myself grace to Grow in His Glory! When I feel lazy to do the hiuse chores that's where His strength comes in because on my own I can't make it Unfortunately,Procrastination isn't a solution. Neither is excuses! The pandemic robbed me of this experience when I graduated from undergrad, so it’ll hit extremely different for me! Oh Hush, I ain’t crying, ya’ll are, LOL…this journey wasn’t an easy one...I’ve suffered from high-functioning depression, grief of loved ones, physical health ups and downs, some friendships/relationships came to an end (the ones that nobody talks about that comes with an outgrowing pain as you elevate.) Yup, those are the ones… I’ve experienced mental and emotional torment like I’ve never experienced before (it’s true that whatever God calls you to, is the exact thing the enemy will attack, AND God will also test your endurance in that same area) …. WHEW, and more..To say the least, I too had to go through my own therapeutic process. These last three years came with challenge after challenge but EVERY DIFFICULTY MASTERED, WAS AN OPPORTUNITY WON 🙌🏽🏆 !! This achievement is bigger than me! Great Mother's Day weekend. It started on Saturday with yoga, a facial, and some shopping. Plus, Matt got me two sets of flowers. Today, Shelly and I went for a hike in the Laguna Coast area and had "linner" at Trevor's on the Tracks in San Juan Capistrano. We picked a great time to eat, right between the lunch and dinner crowd. I received some lovely jewelry, but the company is what I appreciate the most. Was it better than the death march of 2023, where our hike got out of hand, and I lost half of two toenails? Maybe. Lol. Was I worried? Yes!!! Was I discouraged? Yes!!!!! Was I sad??? Yes!!! In fact I looked for tears but found none, and then this morning, I went to my Bible app and found the verse of the day..... No other assurance did I need that the verse of today was for me...... Oya help me and read it,Lk.1:45 😁. The pronoun there is 'she',you get???😉✌ But it didn't end there,every word I heard in the service was an additional confirmation of God's word and promises in my life,regardless of the process,yessss,the PROCESS!!!
