Už je to 3/4 roku od naší návštěvy Islandu a pořád dokola se vracím k fotkám, které mě baví.🌄 Třeba tento vodopád mi ležel v galerii tak dlouho, dokud mi to nedalo a musel jsem si ho tu odložit. 🇮🇸💦 Islandia to zdecydowanie kraina wodospadów! Można je tu spotkać na każdym kroku, jadąc sobie zwyczajnie drogą czy wybierając się na spacer. Są większe, mniejsze, bardziej lub mniej znane. Kvernufoss mam wrażenie jest jednym z tych najmniej docenianych, ale dlaczego? Być może przez swojego słynnego sąsiada o nazwie Skogafoss, który kradnie „całe show” 🙈 jest on bowiem dużo większy i bardziej imponujący, a na pewno łatwo dostępny. Żeby odwiedzić Kvernufoss trzeba kierować się na Skogar Muzeum, na parkingu (płatnym 750 ISK) zostawić auto i udać się na dosłownie 10 minutowy spacer w stronę wąwozu. Naszym zdaniem to taka ukryta perełka, również dzięki temu, że docierają tutaj nieliczni. I chociaż było sporo osób jak tam przyszliśmy, to na koniec był moment, że zostaliśmy sami 🤩 takie miejsca lubimy najbardziej! 🫶 Niewątpliwie uroku dodaje mu fakt, że można wejść za strugę wody i podziwiać wodospad od drugiej strony! From east to west, Iceland’s wonders never cease to amaze! While heading westward, I stumbled upon this nature’s breathtaking spot, not so common around social media. Here, the earth shows off its vibrant colors – fiery oranges, reds, and yellows, painted by mineral deposits that have been around forever. Walking through this geothermal wonderland, steam rises, creating a mystical mist and feeling like you are stepping into a natural sauna! But the coolest thing? These green sulfur rivers! "Vík" . . . . . Vík í Mýrdal is a remote seafront village in south Iceland. It sits in the shadow of Mýrdalsjökull glacier, which covers the Katla volcano. Reyniskirkja is a wooden church dating to 1929. Reynisfjara beach has black pebbles, basalt columns and the Reynisdrangar offshore rock formations.
