Last nights guardians ride was pretty crazy. The ride had been down for a while and the pre-show exit hall was backed up for 10 minutes! I had never seen it like this before. Thought I would take the time to create a post series about my favorites at Disney. This one will be a series of the reasons I love Caribbean Beach. Yes it’s big. Yes there are no elevators but there’s so much more to this resort than meets the eye or what you hear word of mouth. One of the many reasons involves its location. CBR is directly next door to The Riviera. A lovely deluxe resort themed to the Italian Riviera and one of the best restaurants on property (again, in my opinion) Just being next door gives you all of the perks of walking over to an amazing quick service, coffee shop(need I say more??) and the restaurant, Topolino’s Terrace. (That’s a whole other post on its own) Other perks include grabbing a coffee and walking around to enjoy the look of this beautiful resort including these larger than life murals. One themed to Tangled and the other to Peter Pan. I gotta be honest, on my first adult trip to Disney all I could think about was getting a Starbucks on Main Street and enjoying it waking making my way to the castle. You can get a flavored latte here {personal fav} + if you’re feeling adventurous {& over 21}, try it spiked. 🤪 ☕️📍Kona Island Coffee Bar, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort: Arguably my very fav coffee on property. Try the coconut latte - it’s life-changing. The Polynesian has its own unique blend of coffee beans not used anywhere else across WDW. If you stop anywhere, let it be here. ☕️📍Gideon’s Bakehouse, The Landing, Disney Springs: Everyone makes a stop here for the cookies, but don’t leave without trying their signature cold brew. My fav is the pumpkin when in season. The peanut butter is also delicious. My only complaint is that I wish the cup was larger 🤣 ☕️ 📍 Starbucks, Main St. USA, Magic Kingdom. There are several SB locations, but this is my fav. It’s Starbucks, so you can’t go wrong with any order. ☕️📍Roarking Fork, Wilderness Lodge. This latte is definitely a hidden gem {we can thank the Seven Dwarfs} 💎 that I can’t gate keep. Next time you’re at Wilderness Lodge, you need to try the S’mores Latte! If you love marshmallows as much as I do, you’ll be wanting s’more! 🤪🤣 ☕️📍Grand Floridian Cafe, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: This is one of my top sit down spots in WDW & their lattes are top notch! This one is... not for the faint of heart. I'm going to chalk this one up to it being brewed incorrectly but that was the strongest, bitterest cold brew I've ever had on the bottom of this float. I thought it was actually espresso at first. I couldn't even enjoy the coffee portion of this treat. Thankfully, the pistachio and mocha swirl ice cream was divine. And I loved the little festive sprinkles and chocolate mickey decoration. I could go without the rides and see Characters all day long! 📷 Memory Maker: a cast member takes your pictures so you can be in them too!
