Spent the day @Disney Springs! 😁 It gets super busy on the weekends so we heading to Gideons Bakehouse first to get signed up for the virtual queue! Once signed up we got some lunch at Guy Fieri’s restaurant Chicken Guy! Super fast service and the breading on the chicken was perfect! Didn’t make us feel like crap after eating everything 🤣 Got to try the Dole whip sampler which I posted right before this and then it was cookie time!! Chicken guy is based in Disney Springs. Given my fondness for sauces, the extensive variety offered at Chicken Guy! Compelled us to try this restaurant. Created in collaboration with celebrity chef Guy Fieri, the quick-service restaurant offers a vibrant and affordable dining experience known for its flavourful chicken-centric menu. The menu includes various options such as tenders, skewers, and sandwiches, with over 20 signature sauces. These are all easily displayed for you. Upon ordering at the till, we found a seat, and a server promptly delivered our food. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service was quick and efficient and friendly. Opting for 5 chicken tenders, we were pleasantly surprised to receive 6, and we added fried pickle chips to our order. Trying five different sauces—Donkey sauce, Special sauce, Chipotle ranch, Bleu cheese, and my personal favourite, Nashville Hot Honey. The total bill came to $15, roughly £12.00. The chicken had a crispy breading and remained juicy, not dry at all. The pickle chips were also a delightful addition. All five sauces were impressive, but the standout was the Nashville Hot Honey, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. Tried Chicken Guy in Disney Springs on my last visit (not sponsored) I love chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, and ALL THE SAUCES, so it’s crazy it took me so long to try it out Verdict- it’s an amazing low-budget quick service option with really good flavor (my meal was about $10 - didn’t get a fountain drink) With certain menu items you can choose 2 sauces, which, let me tell you it was SO TOUGH to decide. On my most recent visit to @disneysprings this past weekend, my besties and I were looking for something quick to eat where we could sit in the A/C and a spot we hadn’t tried yet. Thanks to a quick rainstorm, we spotted @chickenguy as we left the Vera Bradley store. Seemed like a divine message to pop in and check out the menu. 🐓 After browsing the various options, we decided to give it a try! You can’t beat the 3 Tender Combo for $11.49- that super affordable for any Disney property! 3 {huge} tenders, fries & a fountain beverage plus 2 of the sauces to choose from. The chicken was great but it was the uniqueness of the sauces that did it for me! I had the Donkey Sauce, Mayo + Roasted Garlic + Mustard + Worcestershire + Lemon *and* the Garlic Parmesan, Mayo + Roasted Garlic + Parmesan + Parsley + Black Pepper. Both amazing! We got to see Lego Elsa, I wore my dad’s original Disney World Mickey sweatshirt from when he was in high school while he reminisced about Love Bug, and we ate and drank to our hearts content- both Chicken Guy and Gideon’s were places we dreamed of for months and they did not disappoint.
