Carefree | Since 2023 🌾 • Our Wild & Carefree collection is inspired by nature, and the peace that comes with trusting that God is Our Provider, and He knows our needs. 🙌🏽 I designed this collection based on Luke, chapter 12, where Jesus asked his disciples why they worry so much? He used nature as a teaching tool. He said, take the Ravens for example, do you think they worry about whether or not they will find food tomorrow? No. They trust that God will provide. He also used the Wildflower. He said the wildflowers are beautifully adorned, growing freely, with no worries. He asked, "if that’s how God clothes the grass, how much more do you think He’ll do for you?" He told them that they needed to have bigger faith! To, not worry about every little thing, but instead, seek the Kingdom of God and all these things will be provided for you. This is such a good lesson, one that we have embraced here. You'll find the "Carefree Since 2023” slogan on some of our pieces this spring. That is because this is when Bash & Bill was born! We opened last year, February 2023, and although admittedly, it hasn't been an entirely carefree journey, our trust in God has never wavered.🙏🏽 We will continue to take a cue from nature, and push forward in Faith! ✨daily inspiration✨ Our spouses are supposed to be the most important person to us. After all, the marriage covenant is the one that directly mirrors Christ’s own love and commitment to His Bride—the Church. Needless to say, the enemy hates marriages and solid family foundations. Those with Godly marriages built on the biblical foundation are under spiritual attack, right now especially. The enemy wants nothing more than to kill, steal, and destroy anything blessed and ordained by God. As a result, marriages, but especially men of God, are his target for attack. When the man falls, his marriage and family falls. That said, we need to be praying for our spouses. We need to be pleading the blood of Jesus over them and asking God for a continuous blanket of protection over them. We also need to be diligent about marriage maintenance and working as a team after the same goal rather than working against each other. Pray for each other, and pray together. Serve each other. Trust each other. Study the Bible together. Go to church together. Love each other fully and deeply. You can’t be passive about your marriage. True love requires intentionality and sacrifice. Jesus is closely tied with the character Lady Wisdom, not because he IS/WAS a preexistent Lady Wisdom person, but because he is "her" child. He is the human embodiment of personified wisdom because he sought to imitate "her" and because Jesus is the wisdom/plan God made the world by. Lady Wisdom was said to be created and brought forth (Proverbs 8:23) and was the wisdom that the Father had on His mind when He made the world. (This is how the Father made the world THROUGH Jesus) Notice the language carefully, "she" never made anything. The Bible reserved creation solely for the Father: "He made the earth and the fields" (8:26); "He established the heavens" (8:27-29).... Literary personification is rampant throughout the Bible, one example is personified "righteousness" and "peace" are seen kissing each other in Psalm 43:3. We are not to confuse the dozens of different personified aspects of God as actual separate persons (or else that would get weird.) This is simply poetic language, and not meant to create different personalities of the Creator God (Malachi 2:10). I recommend reading "Wisdom Christology in The Gospel of John" by Dustin R Smith. Last week Ollie was baptized and confirmed a member of the Ladder Day Saints of Jesus Christ. It was so special to see how excited he was leading up to it. crown on the mind✨🫶🏼 • I LOVE interview!! It’s the time where we get to TELL the judges why we should be the next queen, that we can talk the talk and walk the walk. However, I don’t love preparing for interview 😱😳 the way I’ve previously prepared is shoot a bunch of questions at myself and expect myself to have the perfect answer right then and there. That’s quite honestly, counterintuitive because it’s stressful and applies unnecessary pressure. Of course at the pageant, we have to think on the spot, but all the time we have leading up to the pageant should be spent reflecting and journaling so that we do have the answers on the spot when we need to - in the interview! I’ve recently started journaling - about myself and my goals, about IUM, and picking out all the ways my goals and values align with IUM! • It’s like studying for a test, you know the material, but you need to learn how to present and apply it, that’s why you study! Before service started, Pastor David informed us that his mom, Virginia Richard, passed away Saturday evening. Please keep the Richard family in your prayers. Theresa gave a GREAT report about the garage sale. Our earnings were above and beyond last year's!! A huge thanks to all of you who got there early, worked hard, and stayed late. Your work does not go unnoticed. Pastor David and Dani continued in their I Do, Now What marriage series. This week they discussed biblical submission and marital manipulation, both topics that are sometimes difficult to talk about from the pulpit, but so very necessary to understand. There will be NO Wednesday night Bible study this week. We want to give Pastor David and his family time to grieve. National Day of Prayer is Thursday May 2nd. There will be a prayer service at noon at the old Mamou skating rink. The ladies RE:Gathering is coming up soon! Saturday May 25th from 9am-2pm. Registration is only $20. When we die to self for the sake of another, LOVE WINS. We’re not to think less of ourselves, of course, we’re just to think of ourselves less. Humility is key in loving others in a broken, unlovable world. This is truly what Jesus would do. He would humble himself and get into people’s stories, not to judge. But to share God’s supernatural love. And in all of the hardest places, yall! “Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose” [Phillipians 2:1-2] To live victoriously in this life, we are to have the mind of Christ. Shifting from self to Christ requires supernatural strength and love. I’m not there yet, but my hope and prayer is to be a little closer each-and-every day. 〚𝕁𝕒𝕞𝕖𝕤 𝟙:𝟚-𝟜〛 Happy Monday friend! In the accountability group I'm in on Monday mornings we've been talking a lot about our works and how in all we do, we do them with gratefulness to glorify God. I was blessed to see my mom be a stay at home mom + homemaker, I got to see her do it all with love. She never complained, things just got done! I owe so much of my love for my life now as her and my dad set the tone for how I would want my life to be. Full of joy✨ When asked how do we as stay at home moms/homemakers deal with outside pressure or peoples opinions--I lovingly mentioned that nothing can penetrate my ears when we know in our heart what we are doing is the best for our family. Nobody can affect our choices because they are ours and we believe they align with what God wants us to be doing! He gives us total confidence & assurance. I also don't judge others for what they choose to do, just as I hope for the same respect. This is the life for me! "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord"--Joshua 24:15🙌🏼 I count it all joy!!! I don't share about how much I love my life everyday to brag (I can only brag about how good God is, I owe it all to Him) I share to help anyone who needs it to know that you can feel this way too. Right where you are, with what you have. Contentment is heaven on earth. To know that my life feels like it can't get any better but with Jesus leading me, I am promised that it will. All things will be… JUST AS HE SAID! As we begin a new week, may we look for, watch for people around us, those in our lives who need a word of encouragement, an act of kindness, a deed of compassion. May we be compelled to Love like Jesus our Savior, who first Loved us...and now, we are able to Love through His Holy Spirit power. Yes, to Love like Jesus... His Love is The Life-line for all people...and His Love is willing to step out, to reach out to save. Today, may we, as His children, exemplify and demonstrate His Love and His Kindness to a world desperate for Him. A world of so many people who depend on “lifeless gods”, not knowing and experiencing the Love of their Father~the Love of Christ... No Greater Love! Yes, we know that His Love changes everything... May we go into this day, aware of and filled with His Love, compelled to share His Love, to show His Love with someone who desperately needs The Life-line of His Love! Read 1 John 3:11-24 aloud. Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of this beautiful and fresh new day.
