Operation Trap a Feral started at 7am today and isn't going as planned but it is a great learning opportunity. Turns out Blackie 2 aka Little Man does have a tipped ear and therefore doesn't need to be brought in. We successfully trapped him which let us get close enough for the first time to notice the Utah signature that he has been TNR'd already. We say he but again they could be a she or a they. This beautiful one year old does have CH (cerebral hypoplasia) which makes her a wobbly girl, but Cupid is very mobile 🐾 and is able to walk around to get to her food, water, and litter area. She loves playing with bouncy balls and feather 🪶 toys. Since she is wobbly, it would be best to keep her in an enclosed area when not at home or not watching her. She doesn’t require much more additional care for her condition but may need an extra 🫧 bath here and there. Meet Ghost- This sweet pup is a mix dogo with such a calm loving personality. We are unsure on the exact breeds and exact age but we think and have been told he is a little over 1 year old. Ghost was at the Sandy animal service shelter since December and was not being adopted due to having “Cherry Eye” families and individuals unfortunately did not feel comfortable or thought he had something wrong with him. Luckily we were able to bring him into our home as a foster to get him the surgery he needs. Today was his big day and the surgery so far has been a success!
