Atreju 🐾💕 Kurzinfo: männlich - gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt geboren ca. 2021 Mischling schwarz mit braun ca. 50cm Endlich glücklich sein Atrejus Name stammt aus dem Roman Die unendliche Geschichte. Das Warten auf sein Glück wird aber hoffentlich nicht mehr unendlich lange dauern, denn von den schönen Seiten des Lebens hat der liebe Rüde bisher leider nicht viel gehabt. Wir hoffen, dass sich das ganz bald ändert und Atreju von seinen Herzensmenschen entdeckt wird. Atrejus Vergangenheit kennen wir nicht, aber schön kann diese nicht gewesen sein, denn bei seiner Ankunft im Asyl war er sehr verängstigt und konnte keine menschliche Nähe zulassen, reagierte abwehrend. Daher vermuten wir, dass er schlimme Erfahrungen durchleben musste. Inzwischen hat Atreju im Asyl aber gemerkt, dass niemand ihm Böses will und hat Vertrauen zu seinen Pflegepersonen aufgebaut. Er freut sich sehr, wenn jemand zu ihm kommt, geht dann freudig zu demjenigen hin und genießt Streicheleinheiten und Zuwendung sehr. Die Asylmitarbeiter schätzen, dass Atreju mit Hündinnen verträglich ist und auch mit nicht dominanten Rüden und Katzen keine Probleme hätte. Da wir nicht sicher wissen, wie Atreju sich in einem Zuhause, in einer für ihn völlig neuen Situation bei zunächst fremden Menschen verhalten wird; ob seine Ängste aus der Vergangenheit wieder hervorkommen oder er diese endgültig hinter sich gelassen hat, suchen wir ein Zuhause bei hundeerfahrenen Menschen ohne kleine Kinder für ihn. Da er eventuell zunächst gestresst und überfordert ist, braucht er Menschen, die ihn mit Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen an alles Neue heranführen, ihn nicht bedrängen und ihm die Zeit geben, die er braucht, um Vertrauen aufzubauen und anzukommen. 🐶 Chamane a fait de gros progrès grâce aux bénévoles car elle ne faisait pas confiance à l’homme. Elle a besoin d’évoluer à son rythme et de trouver sa famille pour la vie ! ❤️ Douce, très affectueuse et câline, pleine de reconnaissance et d’amour pour les personnes qu’elle aime. Il serait même possible de la surnommer la « glu », elle réclame beaucoup d’attention. La chienne éteinte et sur le qui vive se montre curieuse et gourmande. Elle n’en garde pas moins des séquelles du passé, car tout ne se balaie pas à coup d’amour et de bon sentiment. Les manipulations ne sont pas possible pour elle (brossage, massage), les caresses elle les apprécie vraiment mais que sur certaines zones, et progressivement. Comme tout bon border elle adore les balades, les randos, un vrai plaisir pour elle, elle est toujours partante. Elle aime l’espace et le grand air, la ville ce n’est pas fait pour elle. Elle apprend très vite, est obéissante, elle connaît déjà des ordres de bases. Sage en voiture, elle peut aussi rester seule quelques heures. To miły, starszy chłopak, zrównoważony, z poprawnymi relacjami z innymi psami, pięknie chodzi na smyczy. (호빵) 호빵이 평생 가족을 구해요 (~1년, 수컷, 중성화 ✔️, 순해요) I was so pleasantly surprised that people were really interested in Muze (who has been adopted!) so I would also like to find a home for Hopang in the next week or two since he has a very similar personality. Hopang (Hobbang/호빵) is about a year old and was also very likely dumped given how incredibly friendly he is. He was found by a cat mom who has brought me several kittens in the past with a big bite on his butt! She's been taking care of him for more than three weeks and it has since healed. Hopang has also been neutered, has his first vaccine, and allows people to trim his nails and feed him medicine well. Hopang is in Gwangju, but I can bring him to: 🍞 May 3 or 4: Busan/Pohang/Daegu (maybe even Ochong/Cheonan/Asan/Pyeongtaek) 🍞 May 11: Seoul (but these are the only possible dates for me!) You would just have to help by paying the transportation cost to your city. And of course you'd be welcome to come pick him up in Gwangju on another day. There will be a 50,000 won adoption fee which can be donated to a rescue organization of your choice out of four options (I'm not currently fostering so I don't want to collect the money myself). A worried face. And sad eyes. You may recognize Avery as Maggie from the prison. It was very overwhelming for her . She has been bounced and placed time and time again. But hasn’t really found her place. Unfortunately Avery isn’t attentive like other dogs, she listens to you by reading your body language, watching your hands and feelings your energy. She is shy, and timid but imagine being deaf you have to pay attention more to actions. And she too tells you with her actions how she feels. Nudges and kisses and slow paw motions, belly flops and head rests to let you know she trusts you. Being a pitty is hard, being a deaf pitty is even harder. We’ve been boarding her at the clinic for 2 months now hoping that someone will have some interest in her. But unfortunately not yet. Avery would do good in a home with patient people . Understanding individuals that know any dogs need time to decompress because it’s scary out here in this big loud world that she just cannot hear . Avery has done fine with other dogs, and kids but we think a home with older more calm activities would suit her best. She is sad and lonely and although she is loved , she can’t live at the clinic forever. At barely 4 months old, Tiffy is still very much a puppy learning about the big world beyond the shelter. 🥺 Tiffy was hesitant to leave the shelter and needed encouragement, and with each attempt from the volunteers, she got closer and closer leading to her (possibly) first walk out of the shelter with me on Saturday! She looked so proud when we reached the deck overlooking the stream in the Baylands (pic 1). We worked on Tiffy’s reactivity to bicyclists by getting her to pause and let them ride by and when she stayed calm — clicker, and treat! 😋 By the end of the walk she didn’t need me to pause her at all. 👏🏻 Tiffy also didn’t want to go back into the shelter… 😂 We also tried to work on heel (pic 3) to some degree of success for short parts of our walk, which was challenging as the surroundings are all so new to her! 🤩 Tiffy tended to turn around during the walk as if to get another sniff in. Treat-motivated (pic 6), Tiffy has already mastered “sit” and “down” and on her way to learning more to become a well-rounded canine citizen. Today we had a very special pup come for a spa day🥰 Meet the lovely Quinn, she is a 2yr old Shepherd X (thinking Lab) she is a rescue that is looking for a furever home. She is super cuddly, sweet and a joy to be around 💕 this was her first groom and first time at a farm. Quinn was absolutely perfect for her bath and blow dry and enjoyed the views of the farm. She got to meet some horses and was stellar! She was way more interested in hanging out and getting belly rubs then what the horses were doing.
