Gebruik google maps en zoek naar Dead Sea Free Swimming. Je vindt een parkeerplaats en een kleine kraam waar je vers water en modder kunt kopen. Soms is er niemand aanwezig, koop dus vooraf wat flessen water. 🛁 Modder 8 JOD, zoetwaterdouche 3 JOD 👟 Neem waterschoenen mee! 🕙 Blijf slechts 15 minuten in het water. Het zout droogt je huid uit 🪒 Scheer jezelf niet een paar dagen van te voren 🪧 Er is nog een plek, Salto beach, maar op dat moment was er niemand in de stal en hadden we geen vers water meegenomen ᴇɴɢʟɪsʜ ʙᴇʟᴏᴡ ⬇️ The Dead Sea Highway leads on a high cliff, which is very picturesque, but there are actually not that many places where it is safe to descend to the sea and where you can have a swim (except the expensive beach resorts). Así que os he compartido algunos de los mejores lugares para disfrutar y fotografiar éste: 1️⃣ Desde el Siq, el primer momento en el que uno ve asomar el tesoro entre sus impresionantes paredes. Uno de los momentos más emotivos que viviréis en Jordania… 2️⃣ y 3️⃣: El instante en el que te encuentras frente a él, cara a cara. Cuando todavía no te lo puedes creer… 4️⃣ Encima de esta piedra situada en una pared lateral que te permite esta curiosa perspectiva del Tesoro 5️⃣ Desde arriba de uno de sus miradores. 📝 Info sobre miradores del tesoro de Petra: hay tres diferentes. Y yo te aconsejo por lo menos visitar uno, el más accesible de todos, que se encuentra ascendiendo por las rocas en la zona derecha saliendo del Siq, mirando al tesoro. ☝🏻Éste presenta una bonita tetería con unas vistas increíbles al tesoro. Dear enchanted one, Like you right now I'm sure, I have been watching the unfolding news from Ukraine and every single corner of our globe that is affected by war, colonisation and occupation with the heaviest of hearts. Most compassionate soul, I just want you to be reminded that no matter how hopeless and helpless you might feel right now, I believe that both you and me can also use this same heaviness to expand our hearts and cultivate the deepest emphatic imagination we have to make this world a better place. I was reminded of this yesterday when I was in the waiting room for my specialist appointment. My hands were completely numb, as usual, with Raynaud's so I arrived early to warm them with my little pink handwarmer. As I did, an old lady with a gorgeous bejewelled walking stick and the most whimsical face mask with cats on asked with curiosity how long I have lived with Raynaud's. I told her that Raynaud's had been something I had known since childhood and that February was Raynaud's Awareness Month and that I had felt disappointed I wasn't well enough to show up. She smiled at me with a wise understanding saying that from time to time she too experiences Raynaud's attacks that have plagued her all her life. I asked if she had seen a doctor and seemingly puzzled, she had no idea it was something that should be examined. Another lady had just joined the waiting room and joined our conversation explaining that she was worried about her daughter who exhibited the same symptoms and would now urge for her to be seen. One waiting room and yet multiple souls who have now felt seen, helped and witnessed. May you know that you don’t have to move mountains to better the world and that through the smallest acts of compassion you can radiate change, impact and support across the tapestry of our landscape. Happy Isle Loop trail ,walking along side the Merced River. Yosemite Valley.
The first hike we did in Zion Nation Park was to Observation Point, as the normal route, East Rim Trail, was closed due to a rockfall (Fig 4) and no one was able to clear it off (likely to be a few years closure before the nature takes its course), we found an alternative route started outside of the park, East Mesa Trail. It turned out it is truly an easier (Alltrails said it is moderate while East Rim is hard) hike especially after I saw the zig zag (Figure 4) of East Rim Trail from a platform in Figure 3, I could imagine how desperate myself could be if we were on that way🥵 As the name suggested, the end of the trail is a point with spectacular views of the full canyon and Angel’s Landing. Although the trail itself is a bit boring as the lack of challenging climb ups, the view make it absolutely worthy to be considered if you are planning a half day relaxing hike. *More about Narrows and Angel’s Landing is coming…

❗Pierwsze co dziś ukazało się moim oczom to zdjęcie z Birmy sprzed dwóch lat. Jak to zawsze w moim przypadku bywa, łzy napłynęły do oczu na wspomnienia podróży z biletem w jedną stronę.✈️ Ba! znalazły swoje ujście gdy przeczytałam co napisałam pod tym zdjęciem siedząc pod jedną z birmiańskich pagód. 🛕Zostawię Was dzisiaj z tym postem, a nóż zdziała coś dobrego. Zostawię tutaj te słowa, by samej sobie o nich przypomnieć. „Dziś minęło 56 dni mojej podróży.🌍 To dwa miesiące bez wygodnego łóżka, prysznica, ciepłej wody. Dwa miesiące bez zapewnionego dachu nad głową i transportu. Dwa miesiące bez makijażu, jeansów i uczesanych włosów. Mogłabym wymieniać w nieskończoność rzeczy których od dwóch miesięcy nie doświadczyłam, ale po co? Po co, skoro w zamian dostałam tak wiele. Przez te dwa miesiące zrozumiałam, że moje problemy nigdy nie były problemami w perspektywie tego co zobaczyłam w Birmie. Że większość rzeczy które posiadałam w Polsce nie miało żadnej wartości, poza tą najmniej istotną- materialną.💲 Że żadna sytuacja nie powinna nam zabierać uśmiechu z ust, bo on może zdziałać tak dużo.. I przede wszystkim, że wśród wszystkich czynników odwracających naszą uwagę, nie możemy zapominać o tym co najważniejsze- by być człowiekiem dla drugiego człowieka, a horyzonty poszerzyć dalej niż czubek własnego nosa. ‼️ Od dwóch miesięcy codziennie dostaję uśmiech, życzliwość, pomoc, zrozumienie. Ciepło, troskę i szczerość. Słońce na nieumalowanej twarzy, wiatr w nieuczesanych włosach, a poza śladami stóp na grząskim, oj czasami bardzo grząskim gruncie(!) zostawiam za sobą jedynie płaty spalonej słońcem skóry. 🔥 Plecak przyczepił mi się do pleców i skubany nie odpuszcza! Więc zakładam znienawidzone sandały i gniotę problemy w zarodku. Codzienność, szara koleżanko, jeszcze trochę na mnie poczekasz”
