Una de las rutas más bonitas de Sierra Nevada ( no es el Veleta ni Muhlacén 😅)es... desde luego la ruta desde el refugio Postero Alto hasta el Picón de Jerez sigiendo el barranco y el río Alhori. Nosotros esta vez optamos por hacer algo más exigente y subimos por el Corredor Diagonal. Ruta circular, díficil, 10,5km, se salva 1100m en pocos km + la dificultad del corredor medio-alto según las condiciones de la nieve. Gdy parę lat temu w ramach zdobycia jednego ze szczytów Korony Gór Polski ruszyliśmy w Rudawy Janowickie, czuliśmy... rozczarowanie 🤭 Szlak na Skalnik okazał się zbyt łatwy nawet jak na leniwą wycieczkę rodzinną a obok tabliczki z nazwą szczytu przeszliśmy niemal jej nie zauważywszy! Krótki i mało widokowy spacer zrekompensował nam jedynie znaleziony przypadkowo po drodze Zamek Bolczów 🏰 Jednak niedawne wyprawy zweryfikowały moje poglądy na temat tego niewielkiego górskiego pasma. Odkryłam, że Rudawy to nie tylko piękne lasy i przyjemne ścieżki. To także skałki wspinaczkowe, ciekawe punkty widokowe, słynne Sokoliki, z których zobaczyłam lwią część Głównego Szlaku Sudeckiego, którym ruszę już we wrześniu 🗺️ Rozpoznałam między innymi Śnieżne Kotły czy majestatyczny wierzchołek Śnieżki 🏔️ Niżej, na stoku Krzyżnej Góry znajduje się najstarsze górskie schronisko w Polsce, Szwajcarka 🏡 Dokładnie rok temu obchodziło swoje 200 urodziny! Nie wiem, co serwowano tu dwa wieki temu, ale dziś można zjeść pierogi, naleśniki lub szarlotkę, a także kupić tematyczne rękodzieło lokalnych artystów (wisiorki, magnesy, rzeźby). Rudawy to także Kolorowe Jeziorka, bardzo urokliwie prezentujące się szczególnie wiosną i jesienią. Poznając tajemnice pochodzenia nazw i kolorów jeziorek (a są: Żółte, Purpurowe, Błękitne i Zielone) dowiedzieć się można też wielu ciekawych rzeczy o regionie. Historia okolicznych wsi związana jest bowiem z istnieniem kopalni, a wydobywano tu miedź, arsen, piryt czy nawet złoto ⛏️ Niestety swój związek z kopalnictwem w przykry sposób zakończyła położona nieopodal miejscowość - Miedzianka. Miasteczko po burzliwych dziejach wzlotów i upadków w końcu przestało istnieć a jedyną pamiątką po jego dawnej świetności jest kościółek ⛪ Wszystkie te miejsca można zobaczyć zupełnie za darmo, wstęp do Rudawskiego Parku Krajobrazowego jest bezpłatny. La o ciocolata caldă la Mama Oara. Dacă nu stiți încă de ea, atunci e timpul să îi faceți o mică vizită sau poate chiar să rămâneți peste noapte. Unde o găsiți? 📍Cabana Diham Localizare? 📍Munții Diham, într-o poiană de sub Măgura Cenușie Acces? 📍Din Predeal, Azuga, Bușteni Cine este? ▪️Este omul care mai bine de 5 decenii a transformat cabanele din Bucegi în "acasă", oferind turiștilor o vorbă bună, o recomamdare, o masă caldă. Prețuri? Cazare: 30 lei/ loc în camera cu mai multe paturi 75 lei/ cameră dublă Mâncare: Prețuri de cantină, dar în vârf de munte, undeva la 15 lei o porție de mâncare. În ceea ce privește cabana, clar nu o recomand pentru cei care au pretenții, e pentru cei care poate vor sa experimenteze statul într-o cabana izolata pe munte, fiind de fel adăpost pentru cei care următoarea zi continuă traseul spre Mălăiești sau chiar spre vârful Omu. . . . #mountain #mountaingirl #diham #predeal #mamaoara #adventure

Feeling really physically activated in a great way! I'm a #naturegirl through and through and to commune with the Earth and all of her wonders is my sacred ritual of life as a walking meditation. As the seasons shift that means a shift in our choice of daily nature exercise and an uptick in the levels of intensity. Longer hikes and bike rides are a favorite of mine and always make me feel so refreshed and invigorated. I love gardening and doing all my own yard work too. We're all about a hike or bike ride a day in warmer temps and that could include a kayak journey when water conditions are smooth sailing. Outdoor exercise is my go-to wellness plan and is my top tip for feeling vibrant. I find it great for the body, heart, mind and soul. I'm 51 and my levels of activity have only increased over time. For me, the more physical activity, the better I feel, my energy stays harmonized, and I get really great sleep. I need more physical exertion than most people due to my personal makeup energetically, and I'm constantly amazed by what is possible because of my determination and joy merging in my resilient heart. It was also only just last fall that I did my first ever bike tour overseas where we biked nearly 250 miles in six days. All of this driving home how the things we think we can’t do, are sometimes only a belief away, or a shift of stories that we allow to run the show. It's never too late to do something you've wanted to try or to learn something new. It's only within the last four years that I've learned to ski. It's also only in recent years that I've learned to surmount fears of heights on many an occasion of ski slopes, backpacking the Grand Canyon, and even doing Angel's Landing in Zion - one of the most dangerous hikes in the U.S. Courage of the heart is something I've truly come to understand on many levels and even in more areas than these. There's an unlimited well of support within that we have yet to tap into that can fuel so much. And for me, not only do I keep discovering more of what is possible when I do, but I realize the importance of nurturing my heart's needs on each level as well.

I went instantly paralyzed 8 years ago. In the TM world, they say, “happy crappyversary”. In my world today, I say, “happy anniversary 🎉!” I was listening to an interview hosted by Matthew Sanford @mindbodysolutions where the message I heard was how important it is to come back home to your body after experiencing trauma, loss, and disability. Clicked for me as I have spent the last 8 years working on doing just that. Getting back into creative outlets, embracing mindfulness as a way of life, and becoming *almost fearless in trying new things (hiking alone) means my body feels like home. In the past 10 days, I turned 48 🎂, completed my 200 YTT with @warriorflowofficial, and have my 8 year paralysis anniversary. Instead of launching into what is hard, I’m staying in gratitude today. Grabbing my #sidestix forearm crutches and my dog was the most honoring way I could say “hooray to me 😊”. Best way I can sum up today are the last couple lines of an essay I wrote that was published in part: “If I look up to the sky and the trees and feel my feet on the earth, I don’t mind and know that race I would come in dead last is a myth. I win my race. Every. Single. ✨ Di compleanni, pensieri sparsi, cose non dette. Sono nata il 27 aprile, di 40 anni fa. Le foto che vedi le avevo preparate, le parole no. Scrivo pensieri sparsi, così come mi vengono. Oggi compio 40 anni. Per la prima volta vedo sul mio viso i segni del tempo che ho vissuto. Ma se a 20 mi avessero detto che avrei raggiunto queste cime, non ci avrei creduto. Ho scelto solo foto di me e di vette. Perché negli ultimi 3 anni la montagna è stata la mia più grande sfida. Con me stessa. Ansia, panico, paura incontrollabile. Cose difficili da superare senza aiuto. L’ho chiesto, senza vergogna e forse avrei dovuto farlo prima. La montagna mi ha aiutata a capire che ce la potevo fare. Con rispetto (di me stessa prima di tutto), calma e fatica. Solo io e lei. Ed è solo in quel momento, una volta arrivata in cima, che la paura é sparita. Queste foto hanno qualcosa in comune: sono paonazza, sudata, sporca, sfinita. Ma sono felice. Di quella felicità pura e semplice, che hanno i bambini quando il gelato cola loro sulle mani. Partea 1 - O ascensiune de neuitat spre Vârful Piatra Mare. Am avut o șansă extraordinară să vedem cocoșul de munte în perioada ritualurilor de împerechere (probabil o experiență unică), dar și vulpița prietenoasă. ❤️‍🔥 Am urmat traseul prin Canionul 7 Scări - Pereții din Valea Șipoaia - Cabana Piatra Mare - Vârful Piatra Mare, iar coborârea am făcut-o pe lângă Șirul Stâncilor spre Dâmbul Morii. #piatramare #drumetie #mountaingirl #muntiibarsei #muntiiromaniei #canionul7scari #cabanapiatramare
