L o c a t i o n We are so lucky with our location…. it takes me a few seconds over 2 minutes to walk down the road and have my feet on the sand! The House on the Corner is located in Morfa Nefyn, right on the coast of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. Not only are we super close to the beach, the village location means that you can walk to a cafe ( aprox 2 mins away) two pubs ( both dog friendly , 1 on the beach) a local shop, a chippy, The Golf Club, and the coastal path which stretches around the peninsula in both directions! If you walk a mile, you also find Nefyn with its pretty fishing harbour and miles of sandy beach, with more shops, pubs, takeaways, a pharmacy and a doctor! Head the other way along the coast to find beaches with squeeky sand only found in a few places in the world, and huge colonies of seals.. You might see dolphins playing in the surf. The Llyn has miles more coast and lots and lots of beaches to explore, Castles, Iron age settlements, mountains, museums, art galleries and two more coastal golf courses. You can hire e bikes, paddleboards and coasteer, you can sail, surf and powerboat, jet ski, you can book a fishing trip , crab off the slipway, visit Islands, you can hike, run, and walk!!! There are cafes, mexican, chinese, tapas , indian, italian, thai, British, & seafood restaurants, and we have fabulous pubs, the best Ice Cream shops, and so many chippies! Oh and the shops… lots of unique independent shops selling all kinds of things from clothes, to craft and everything in between! Now … Im actually exhausted just thinking about it…. Shot On Film, I love the old ways of taking photographs, the emotional bond to the image seems much stronger, I guess that’s because it requires a fair degree of inconvenience to obtain the image. This was shot on 120 roll film, using a Mamiya RZ.
