Mel & Ben where definitely feeling camera shy for their upcoming wedding, so they decided to book a pre-wedding shoot to shake some of those nerves. Λｌｌｅｒｔｏｎ ░ Ｔｏｗｅｒｓ There isn’t much left of this once Victorian Manor House these days as most of it was demolished in the 1930’s, but the orangery, stables and laundry along with a partially walled garden are still visible in the beautiful Allerton Towers Park. Allerton Towers park and garden in Woolton. It was part of the manor of Allerton until 1849 when Hardman Earle acquired the estate and introduced the mansion based on a design by Harvey Lonsdale Elmes, the architect of St George's Hall. The estate was then taken over by Liverpool Corporation in 1924, opening as a park three years later but by 1937 the Tower had become seriously affected by dry rot and was demolished. It's still lovely to walk around though and definitely reminiscent of The Secret Garden or Tom's Midnight Garden.
