We took our first trip to @avonvalleypark’s Pumpkin Patch on Sunday and it was epic! 🎃 You can roam the fields and pick your own or if getting muddy isn’t your thing, you can pick a pre-cut one from the stalls. There are sooo many varieties to choose from. The boys loved riding in a wheelbarrow alongside their picks. Pumpkins aren’t included in your entry and are priced on size which is great as there’s something for everyone’s budget. A cool fire show takes place every half hour or so and the Halloweeney performers were milling around chatting to visitors including Mr Pumpkin head and a quite terrifying witch on stilts - Wilf wasn’t a fan but he did like the scarecrow! 🧙♀️ There were lots of little games for the kids to enjoy including an apple cannon, seasonal sling shot and pumpkin paintball - Alfie was trigger happy! (additional cost). There’s also a funfair with dodgems and the like (cash only). 🎠 The food tent offered seasonal treats such as hot choc and s’mores as well lunch options like burgers and dirty fries. However, the unseasonal warm weather meant we opted for the ice cream which was 👌. 🦖 DINO DAY 🦕 We were #invited by our wonderful friends at @avonvalleypark to experience their new Dinosaur Valley LIVE experience last weekend and OMG my face hurt from laughing by the end of the day. We were covered in foam, face paint, mud, ice cream, coffee, sand and much more but that was one of THE best days out I’ve had in a LONG time. There’s so much to talk about, I don’t even know where to start but there is a live, theatrical, immersive DINO LAB experience, more animatronic dinos than you can shake a stick at, Dino jeep rides, fossil digging, Dino teddy making, Dino movies, foam parties, dance offs, Dino trails and MUCH more on TOP of all the other amazing normal activities at @avonvalleypark 🤪 They are running the full park Dino Take overs throughout the spring / summer on chosen weekends (check their website for dates / tickets) but that was AMAZING!!!! @avonvalleypark Christmas visit part two 🎄please check out part one for amazing videos Had the best experience on 21st. We were very lucky to still be able to go as tired mummy wrote the wrong date in her diary and it was only until I got an email asking if we enjoyed our visit that I realised. We were all planned to go the day after we were meant to go 🙈🙈 Thankyou @avonvalleypark for letting us still share the magic with you. We took a rocket 🚀 to the North Pole with the best pilot woosh he was amazing. Then we walked through an enchanted forest where we sang with a reindeer and met mrs Claus then we got to meet the big man himself ‘Santa Claus’ and the boys got given a golden tockrj to take to the toy shop. All the staff were amazing and really got into character. Absolutely can’t recommend this place enough. After our Christmas experience we got to go around the park, we went into indoor play area, fed animals, seen the grinch and rode the polar express, roasted marshmallows and We also got to post our letter to Santa in the post room.
