This dear little companion has been with me since 2001 when 5 friends and I headed over to Agde in the south of France and Spello Umbria for a month long painting trip. Since then we’ve travelled together to Vietnam, Morocco , Sicily , UK ,Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and now Turkey. I’ve had to replace a few pans and brushes over time but other than that- it’s still holding up so well. My last week of April visual diaries. 1. Had a short trip to another island. Luckily, i got the chance to have the ferry trip at the evening so the sky looks so pretty as if it was a cotton candy. 2. Finishing The Phantom of the Opera, will write more about it when i have the time but i can say i enjoy it so much! Classic and mystery, my two favorites combined. 3. Visited a local coffee shop with my girlfriends after work. A very bad decision to have coffee at 9 PM because I couldn’t sleep at all that night😴 4. Enjoyed my train rides by reading book. 5. After having dinner with my friends, we were looking for dessert and decided to try this new tiramisu shop. It was really good!

I'm finally starting to accept that disabled is a label I really can't run from anymore. I can't keep trying to find loopholes and stop holding myself to the same standards as able-bodied neurotypicals. Because I'm not and it's burning me out to keep trying to be like everyone else. Similarly, I start physical therapy in July. Which is a first for me. I'm not sure what to expect but I hope at the very least we'll be able to figure out where my issues lay. I know I've talked about it briefly before but I think for sure I can't eat wheat anymore or at least is has to be VERY limited. Like a couple times a month, maybe, and spread out. I'm so exhausted with/from work and burnt out,I just don't care about anything anymore. I just want to sleep all day and rot into the couch. While on the flip my anxiety has been.. bordering unbearable lately. As a semi positive note: I've been coping with distraction again lately. Recently it's been Baldur's Gate 3 which rapidly has become my favorite game 😁 I'm also finally getting diagnosis for my struggles and I've never felt more validated.
