Viking by @creedboutique Hello my dear Fragrance Fans🙋♂️ Sometimes I find mint in fragrances awful, but there are some fragrances that have mint beautifully incorporated. Like this fragrance here If a Viking smelled like that, it’s no wonder they’re still talked about today. The Mix of Rose, Mint and Pepper is too good. It was one of those Rose Scents i liked right from the Start, from the first time i smelled it. Spicy Fresh, abit Green and Woody in the Drydown. Mint can be difficult, cause it could remind me of toothpaste, but its so fine handled here that it fits perfect with the Rose. Pepper makes it spicy, Lavender and Cedar as my favourite wood makes it a bit warm. The Projection is not Beast Mode, but we are talking about another Gentlemen Scent, so its perfect, cause Gentlemen dont need to attract attention. The Longevity is good and with 8-9h also perfect. So i have no Clue, if Vikings smelled like this in the Past, but its more inspired by the crafted longships of the Viking Age. I really enjoy this in Spring or in Fall, when the Sun not have its full power. Lovely free sample for hubby (although I really like the scent and think it suits my skin better 🤣). Not a brand we’d tried before so was very intrigued to receive this ‘Aventus’ free sample from @creedfragrance It’s a strong scent and lasts amazingly well. Hours later it smells as if it’s just been applied - which I love! Head notes: lemon, pink pepper, apple, bergamot and blackcurrant Heart notes: pineapple, jasmine & Indonesian patchouli Base notes: birch, ambroxan, cedarwood, oak moss & musk. I’m no fragrance expert but this list really surprises me. I would not describe it as fruity, sweet or citrusy at all. It’s a gorgeous blend and a unique, intriguing scent. The house of Creed is driven by perfection with an elegant artistry. ⚜️Embark on a journey thru time and emotion. To achieve an exciting cologne effect Millesime opens with fireworks of citruses. A clean and classic uplifting melody of sweet bergamot, lemon and crisp pure grapefruit. The captivating character of cypress with its woody and earthy elements pairs beautifully with the citruses creating something sophisticated and masculine. ⚜️The mid is all about the soft powdery orris, diffusive red petal Turkish rose, deep Bulgarian rose, and the rich creamy romantic ylang-ylang. The florals in this composition do not overpower but add to the uniqueness and complexity. ⚜️The base is vibrant and fresh. The bay leaf is herbal with a spicy overlay while the thyme adds resinous depth and compliments the dry elegant character of cedar. Creed's "Carmina" is my #sotd. This scent will immediately draw your attention and cling to you. Similar to a sophisticated and feminine blend of Dr. Pepper or any cherry-flavored soda mixed with rose candies. Its several layers give it a contemporary scent. The Peony is counterbalanced by the Black Cherry, Saffron, and Pink Pepper. Additionally, I adore how the scent gains some much-needed steadiness with the appearance of Rose, Cashmere Wood, and Musk in the dry down. Please don't overspray; this is beast mode.
