Tick that off the bucket list! Absolutely phenomenal experience to be just centimetres away from this enormous, prehistoric predator that absolutely wanted me for lunch. I cannot describe to you how it felt to lock eyes with this incredible animal. 4.6m and 690kg! I expected him to be used to human interaction and ignore me but as soon as I was lowered into his space he came right over to check for any cracks in that tank! Swipe across for a spooky video of him circling me. I was actually in the tank with two crocs - William and Kate! They’ve been together for 30 years and there’s a pic in there of me holding one of their babies, Phillip! Incredible to think they were that small once. William was actually captured originally because he was stalking people and dogs on Mindil Beach - he’s been viewing us as prey for a long time. School's out, scales are in! 🐍 Our Junior Reptile Ranger Program is still running this week through the School Holidays! This is a fantastic program for kids who love animals and have a desire to learn more about the NT’s unique wildlife. ⌚️ Time: 3.00pm – 5.00pm. Please note: This program has been designed for children between the ages of 7 and 12. Children between the ages of 4 and 6 are welcome to attend, however we ask that an adult accompany them on the tour. Cost: $65 per child. Accompanying adults can gain entry to the attraction for the discounted rate of $25. The Junior Reptile Rangers experience is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays during the School Holidays. Nous avons pu voir les crocodiles être nourrit et plein de reptiles, tortues et poissons d'Australie Had a booking for the cage of death but due to a drop in the water temperature the crocodiles weren't really active, we were advised to cancel our booking but we still got free entry to the park. 📍Crocosaurus Cove, Darwin, NT We managed to find a discount code in the Let’s Go Kids booklet (message me!) which helped our family entry prices. Still super hot (for us Queenslanders anyway 😝) at 33degress and 75% humidity in June…. But not unbearable! Crocs were super impressive to watch do their thing and the guides know heaps about each individual croc, why they’re here ant they’re behaviors etc. Of course we just said ‘the lot’ when it came to purchasing the photo package because let’s be honest… when you leave, that’s all you’ve got left! So that’s our theory 😝💰💰The famous cage of death was booked out til end of June… so if that’s on your list… plan ahead!
